I write poems about space
And the stars on your face
And the constellations in your eyes
And the galaxies in your mind

You are a bursting star
I don't think you know where you're going
But you are beautiful
And I would follow you anywhere

Your soul is a black hole and a nebula combined
And it is the most beautiful
You consume love and affection and beauty
And radiate it from your deep fiery eyes

You sucked me in
And I feel small
How does a watered down human love a galaxy
And how does a galaxy love the sea

You smell like warmth and ethereal mystery
You are my solace from the darkness
Though we both contain shades of navy blue
And sparkling ideas that we cannot contain

We relate through pain
And we relate through death
And we relate through love
But we are not the same

You are the galaxy and I am the sea
We are worlds apart but at least you are free
