Chitsu's POV
I squeezed my eyes shut trying to keep the sunlight out. Although, I couldn't. I finally awakened and I looked around at my surroundings. I couldn't remember much from last night except the prank and all the laughing. Both Killua and I slept in a really tall tree. While he was snoozing I decided to read.
Wow, I'm like totally prepared for this exam!
While reading I heard something above me. Then a spider fell on my book. I stare at it for a few seconds, and it stared at it for a few seconds. That's when I realized that there was a spider on my book. I screamed as loud as a could, then I fell off the tree.
"YEET THAT SHIZ!"
"C-Chitsu? What happened?" Killua asks while looking down at me
I managed to speak the name of the devil while pointing at the book "S-Spider."
He sighs jumps off the tree and flicks it.
"My hero! All hail Killua!" I say while bowing with stars in my eyes
"Are you that scared of spiders?" He asks
"Well lots of people are scared of spiders." I reply
"Well at least I finally found one of your weaknesses." he smirks
"Whatever." I reply
As we start to walk around in silence, I felt someone's presence. Then the bushes rustles. Then a man appeared in front of us.
"Hey, your Chitsu, applicant # ? right?" He asks
"What do you want? Wait, am I you're target?" I ask
He ignored the question and he runs toward me while holding a spear. Right before he approaches and actually stabs me, I disappear, then reappear, behind him. While he's in shock, I hardened my hand with a bit of rocks surrounding my hand then chopped him in the nape of his neck. He fell to the ground unconscious. I look through his pockets and grab his tag.
"You never know when you need it!" I say while holding his tag
"Come on, lets try to find Gon." Killua says bored
"Yea, i'm coming." I say running towards him
While walking, I felt the need to ask him something. Something related to my flashbacks and weird drawings, cause he's the only one in my pictures.
"Ne, Killua, do you ever think that anyone from your family came back to get you so that you can be the heir again?" I ask
"No. They are a smart group of people, and if they were here, I think i'd know by now." He replied
"I see."
"Why are you asking me these questions?"
"Um, just asking! You know cause, you gotta be causes some times!"
Just at that moment is when he turned around to face me. He held my hand like a parent would, and I saw the concern in his eyes.
"Chitsu, I need you to tel me everything. I don't know why but, I always become worried of you, so, just please tell me what's going on." He says
I wanted to tell him, but this may hurt him in a way.
"I'm fine Killua! I'm only asking a simply question!" I reassure
Killua's POV
She is definitely hiding something from me, and I intend to find what she's hiding.
Once again, we walked in silence. Somehow, when its only us, we are always so quiet. So I wanted to start a conversation.
"Say." We both said at the same time, we both blush and look away
"You go first." I say
"No you." she replies
"Okay then. I was just wondering what you were going to do after the Exam?" I ask
"After, i'm gonna train some more and get some more information about It. Once I become stronger, I go back to being an assassin. Therefore i'm definitely going to assassinate him as he did to my family." She says
"Oh."
"How about you?"
"Oh me, well the thing is, I don't know. I envy both you and Gna cause you two both know what you're going to do with your lives, then there's just me. I have my whole life planned, but I don't want that." I say
"Can't you just talk to them. I mean if I didn't like something, I always told Luna!" She says
"Well how could you understand. The only think you have left is a wolf and nothing else." I say without even thinking what might happen to Chitsu
When I do realize what I just said, I look to her and see her with wet eyes. I almost made her cry.
"Your right, how could I know. I don't even have a family, all I have is a wolf. What could I possibly know?" She says to herself
"No, Chitsu, I didn't mean that, I wasn't thinking. I'm sorry." I apologize
She stayed silent for some time while her bangs covered her eyes. Suddenly a painful but warm fist landed on my cheek. Chitsu just punched me. Well I guess I deserve it.
"Baka. I'm fine now, thanks. What am I saying, I am not alone, I mean I have you, Gon and Kurapika-nii! The past is well in the past after all. Gomen ne, Killua." She says while looking at me with a warm smile
I feel heat running up to my cheeks, she was really beautiful, and I couldn't deny it.
I love her.
