Chapter 35

We got to the arena and I saw that Gon had already started his fight with Gido. Then, I see Wing waving at us from far away. He saved us some seats at the back. Killua grabbed my hand and walked me through the crowd. I blushed and looked down on the ground. When we got to our seats, I watched the match between the two. I don't know what happened to Gido and his entire body, but he was definitely a Nen user and something must've happened during that process. 

Currently, Gon was being attacked by a bunch of those metal spinners. And it looked like it really hurt. Thank god he was using Ten, this would have lowered the pain. After being hit once, Gon cautiously dodged every spinner. However, when he suddenly closed his eyes, Gon was hit once more. He was probably, trying to find out the patterns of where the spinners were moving since they too, were clouded by some sort of power. It was probably Nen, so that they would be stronger and could also stay in (arittake no yume wo kakiatsume sagashimono wo sagashi ni yuku no sa) one piece! (im so sorry). When Gon was hit with the spinner he flew out of the ring, also his Ten was slowly fading away, he was focusing too much on the spinning tops. While watching the spinning tops, I think that he finally realized that the tops had no control, they were just moving and hitting everything in their way. He ran towards the stadium once again and stood in a pose. Then all of his nen was gone. His Ten was released. There was no trace of any Nen within him. Did he want to die?

"Gon what are you doing?! If you release your Ten your done for!!" Killua shouts

"This may result from many injuries, but I guess he's willing to die to learn from this fight."

"That idiot."

From what I heard from Wing, I think that Gon is going through Zetsu. Though we hadn't actually been taught that, I know that Gon does know how to conceal his presence since he does hunt. Its a must need. 

Gon once again closed his eyes and focused on the nen of the tops. This time he wasn't using nen, he didn't lose any. He dodged every single spinning top and slowly made his way towards Gido but in the end, he was still hit with his 'special move' and in the end, Gon lost and Gido only won because of points. Gido is a fairly weak person, but because of his defence and his spinning tops and their attacks, he always ends up winning because of points.

Killua and I head to Gon's room to check up on how he was doing. Only a day a day passed since his fight with Gido, and I was pretty pissed off right now. 

I slammed the door open and shouted "GON YOU ARE SUCH AN IDIOT! DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED WE WERE OUT THERE! YOU ARE MY PRECIOUS CHILD, I CANNOT LOSE YOU!" He smiles and nervously laughs. Then Killua calmly walks up to him and flicks him, grabs his shirts and shouts, "ARE YOU STUPID?!"

"Ah, you too Killua.."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'ME TOO'?! THE TWO OF US WERE WATCHING YOUR MATCH AND BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T USE YOU TEN, YOU ALMOST BROKE ALL OF YOUR BONES! YOU NEARLY DIED!!!" 

"At this point we're gonna have to get used to it." I sighed

Just then, I hear someone at the door, there, Wing was standing and didn't seem pretty calm and happy. He silently walked toward Gon. Then he slapped him right across the face. I was shocked, I actually never suspected Wing to be that type of person. But, then again, Gon was being reckless and you can tell that Wing's slap was a sign of being worried. Killua reached out to help but soon realized why Wing did what he did. Then Wing started to shout at Gon, it was all the same things that Killua said pretty much.

"I won't allow you to fight or learn about Nen for two months, or at least until you are fully healed. And here," Wing-san then tied a green string around Gon's pinky, "this is a promise thread. A physical reminder of your promise." 

"I'm really sorry, Wing-san." Gon says

"Well I can't let you off the hook with that. Anyway, Chitsu-san and Killua-san, may I speak to you outside?" Wing asks us

The two of look at each other confused, but nod and follow the dark haired teacher outside. As we walked, I noticed that Wing-san was quite a distance from us, so I asked, "what do you think he wants?" 

"Who knows, probably something about why we're here or Nen." He replies

"I see." 

When we did arrive outside, Killua was spot on. 

"Killua-san, Chitsu-san, why exactly is your goal here?" 

I look at Killua impressed and he looked back with a smirk. 

"Well, at first we only came here to earn quick cash, but Gon came here to train so that he can defeat a guy named Hisoka. Thats pretty much all." Killua replied

"Oh and theres that thing that the other 200s are going for, the Battle Olympia? Well both Killua and I aren't so interested, but we don't know about Gon." I add, "He says, he's only here for the sake of defeating Hisoka, but after seeing his fight yesterday, I can tell that he's really enjoying it."

"So, you're saying that he's enjoying a situation where his life is on the line?" Wing-san asks

"Pretty much, I mean the two of us have both felt this way." I say

"Though I know about the circumstances, but once Gon and you also want to be careful of Chitsu, but once they are in the zone, they'll lose sight of everything else." Killua says

"Hey, I know my own limits." I pout

"Sure." he says, "Oh but you shouldn't worry bout his promise, he's not the type to do that."

I carefully study Wings face, and its all filled with regret and realization. So I nudge Killua and he nods knowing exactly what I meant. So he stands and says, "You know, it's too late. Us three already know. If you ever feel like backing out or that you made the wrong decision, don't. We were bound to find about it, both Hisoka and my brother use Nen. So don't feel responsible for this." 

He starts to walk away, I look at Wing-san and bow. Then I run up to Killua and place my shoulder on his hand. As we walked Wing then said "I understand, I'll finish what I started. Zushi waiting for me, you two can start training with him." He shouts, though Killua shakes his head. "No thanks, we'll start when Gon starts, after all we can't leave a friend behind." 

"Then tell Gon to practice his Ten everyday!" 

In reply to that Killua raises his hand and we make our way to Gon. But when we arrived there, we saw Gon already doing what he was meant to do. "My child has grown so much." I wipe a fake tear. The two of us silently and awkwardly made our way back up to Gon.
