Chapter 3

Shane's pov

After picking up a ton of chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, burgers, and smoothies we were driving back home. Rose just got off of her phone and she looked over at me.

Rose: Hey shane, i invited lexi over for a sleepover.

Shane: Damn, i feel like a parent, like i'm allowing people to come over.

She let out a small laugh and i smiled as we pulled into the driveway. I then noticed a fifth car in the driveway and i groaned as we grabbed the bags getting out. I twisted the knob to the door letting us into the large main entrance room. We slipped off our shoes and i heard rock music in the living room. Ugh damn it maria, joey better still be awake.

We set our food on the table and i stormed to the living room ONCE AGAIN. Damn i hate how she always blasts my fucking speakers. I grabbed the remote and i turned off the tv. Marai and....sunai both looked at me with glares and i smirked.

Shane: How many times do i have to tell you NOT to break my sound system?

Maria: I really don't care, you don't control me shane.

Shane: Sure i don't.

She glared and i winked going upstairs to get joey. He was sitting on the ground and wolf was whimpering by his side as joey was crying. I ran over to him and i cupped his face.

Shane: Aww baby what happened? Maria or sunai didn't hurt you did they?

He shook his head no and he stuck his hand forward. I took it and i saw a thin cut across his hand. It was bleeding and my heart sunk.

Shane: Oh my gosh, how did this happen?

Joey's pov

Before shane got home i was going over his knife collection. I was actually browsing it slowly and wolf quickly ran by me and he knocked me over making my hand brush past one of the curved blades. For about five minutes i sat here looking at the cut and i was too shy and scared to go downstairs.

I'm living in a house where i'm the biggest pushover, awesome. Shane came upstairs and asked me what happened, right now i was just too embarassed to tell him.

Joey: I-I don't know.

He sighed and inspected my hand before pulling me to the huge bathroom and he sat me on the bathtub. He wiped off the blood and bandaged it while i just sat there wincing in pain.

Shane: You'll tell me later, and lunch is here.

I nodded and we went downstairs for lunch. I don't think maria likes me that much, i'm just scared to talk to her. Even if i did sass her earlier i was half awake and i wasn't sure what exactly i was talking about. All i know is that i'm keeping my guard up a bit more.

Sunai's pov

I stepped out of the room and i went to the backyard calling someone very important. After a few rings they picked up.

???: You found him?

Sunai: Yes i did, this shouldn't be too hard.

???: You've done well, your payment will come once the job is finished.

Sunai: Yes sir.

???: You best be getting back before someone realized you've left.

Sunai: Yes sir.

I hung up and put my phone away. As much as i don't want to be doing this, i have to. This is all i have left to do right now.

Maria: Where'd you go?

Sunai: None of your damn business.

She rolled her eyes and i checked my pocket making sure my little surprise was still in there. I smirked and walked to the kitchen as i grabbed my food. Oh joey, you don't know what's in store for you.

Rose's pov

There was a ring at the door and i shot up from the couch almost dropping my sandwich.

Rose: I'LL GET IT, I'LL GET IT.

I ran to the door and i pulled it open revealing my best friend Lexi. She smiled widely and i looked over her outfit. She had on black ankle boots with a bright blue tank top and black jeans. Her hair was blonde and lightly curled. She was pretty short but she was about up to my shoulder.

Rose: Aaaaah Lexi!!!!

Lexi: AAAAh panda bear!!!.

I hugged her tightly and we laughed loudly when she whispered something into my ear. Guys...i'm twenty one and i still laugh at jokes that we would've found funny in sixth grade....wow. i brought her inside and she saw sunai. Her smile faded and both of their eyes seemed to widen.

Lexi: U-um hey rose, can you go grab my purse from the car? I forgot it.

Rose: Um sure.

Lexi's pov

I instantly walked over to sunai and i glared and she glared right back. Luckily it was only us in the kitchen at the moment.

Lexi: What the FUCK are you doing here?

Sunai: The boss sent me, why are YOU here?

Lexi: Probably the same reason as you. But i'm gonna leave soon so good luck with your shitty plan.

Sunai: Yea ok, and this is coming from the girl who has failed to kill um what was the number? Oh yea EIGHT people who were naive and stupid.

I growled and almost lunged at her when rose walked back inside. I then put on my fake smile and i turned to her as we grabbed more food running upstairs. How dare that bitch even think to question me, i'll show her whose the mastermind around here

Shane's pov

Something suspicious is going on with sunai. I heard her conversation outside and i already knew she was up to something. You better watch your back, bitch. I grabbed one of my knifes from the shelf and i smiled at the silver beauty.

Shane: I've missed using you.

I smiled and i saw joey on the bed giggling.

Joey: You can be really creepy at times shaney.

Shane: Oh really? Is this creepy?

I jumped onto the bed furiously tickling his sides making him break into a fit of giggles. I laughed along but i was still thinking about what sunai was planning to do to my baby.

Ok so i've gotten a bit of help with writing chapters from Thefeelz1234 she's awesome. I hope you guys liked this chapter and i feel like i have too many main characters now damn it. I might kick out like one or two but at the same time i might not. I don't know yet. Now i'm gonna go, i love you all, bye byeeeeeeee <3
