Chapter 7

Shane's pov

We raced down the street and i managed to somehow sober up a little bit. We looked around the street for at least fifteen minutes until i saw a lump on the ground.

Shane: THAT'S HIM!!!

The two of us ran and i fell to my knees as i saw him. Slowly i flipped his cold body over and i gasped when i saw the damage that had been done.

Shane: Oh god, joey.

I took in his features and they definitely weren't the same. His upper lip was busted and gushing blood along with his forehead. His cheek and eye were badly bruised along with some bruising around the bridge of his nose.

Shane: Why did you leave him?

Sunai: H-He wouldn't listen to me.

Shane: THEN YOU SHOULD'VE DRAGGED HIM WITH YOU, YOU FUCKING BITCH!!!

I stood up and gently cradled his body as we started back towards the house. Neither of us spoke and honestly, i didn't want to. Sunai could've fucking brought him back without a problem but NO just let my fiance get beat up.

Something about her is weirding me out and i'm going to figure out what the fuck it is. We soon arrived at the house and everyone crowded around as i laid him on the couch.

Maria: What happened?

Rose: Is joey ok?

Shane: Does he LOOK okay? Oh and your oh so PERFECT sister decided to leave joey behind and let him get pummelled.

Maria's pov

I looked at her and she immediately looked down at her shoes and my anger was getting higher. I can NOT believe that she would allow this to happen.

Maria: Is this true?

She slowly nodded and i slapped her making her jump. She looked up at me with anger and she held her now sore, red, cheek.

Sunai: WHAT THE FUCK?!?!

Maria: You bitch GET OUT!!!

Sunai: FINE BITCH!!!

She punched my jaw and stormed out of the house roughly slamming the door. I growled and flexed my jaw as i walked to the kitchen to get an ice pack.

I then noticed a small packet on the floor and i picked it up. I looked at the small imprinted lable and it read Penicole, mix with beverage.

Maybe sunai is doing drugs? I don't know and i don't fucking care.

Shane's pov

I bandaged joey's wounds and put a light numbing agent on the places i couldn't bandage. His face still looked pretty beaten up. He then started to stir and i smiled.

Shane: Give him room, joey are you alright?

He opened his eyes and shot up but he groaned and i lightly pushed him back down.

Shane: Hey, shh, you're alright just stay calm.

Joey: W-What happened?

Shane: Y-you, um got....hurt.

Joey: By who?

Shane: I don't know, some random guy i guess.

Joey: I'M GONNA KILL HIM!!!

Shane: Woa, babe calm down, i don't think you're thinking right.

I placed a gentle kiss on his lips and his heavy breathing began to subside. Soon i pulled away and his eyes looked calmer.

Joey: S-Sorry, i don't know what came over me.

Shane: It's alright, it's just your adrenaline wearing off.

Joey's pov

I wanted to believe shane but i know for a fact that isn't true. For some reason i feel so agressive and angry but i have no clue what i'm angry at and it's killing me.

I am ESPECIALLY angry at the fucking bitch who beat me. I'm literally going to murder this mother fucker, how dare he even touch me.

Shane: JOEY!!!

He brought me from my thoughts and i looked up at him.

Shane: You alright? You've been angrily staring into space for the past like five minutes.

Joey: I'm fine, let's just go to bed.

Shane: Don't you want dinner first?

Joey: No, just come to bed when you're ready.

I went upstairs and laid down trying to supress the anger that i could literally feel building up inside of me.

Rose's pov

There's something up with joey and i so badly wanted to know. But i'm not stupid enough to go up and randomly ask him, that would be hella rude.

Shane: Do you think joey is acting kinda....strange?

Rose: Mhm, he seemed to start acting up right after he drank that beer sunai gave him.

Shane: Hmm, i'll check it out later.

I nodded and we silently ate our food in a VERY awkward silence. Maria went out to clear her head and lexi left just cause she wanted to. Shane and i haven't gotten to know eachother too well so this wasn't exactly the most thrilling conversation.

Rose: What's it like?

Shane: What's what like?

Rose: To be...in love.

Shane: Honestly it's amazing. That person will make you the happiest person alive just by smiling. They will make you want to fly and sing just because they're so beautiful and amazing.

He smiled and looked down at his hands as he continued eating. That was surprisingly deep and i would know because shane isn't exactly deep.

Rose: That's amazing, well goodnight shane.

Shane: Goodnight panda.

I smiled and he ascended the stairs quickly.

Joey's pov

Shane came upstairs and he laid down with me pulling me closer to him making me smile. He is such a fucking sweetheart.

Shane: You feeling any better babe?

Joey: Sorta, i'm still sore.

Shane: Aww baby, i'm sorry.

He kissed around my face and i giggled as our eyes connected deeply. He pulled me into a kiss and soon enough we were heavily making out and his tounge was shoved down my throat. I moaned as he slowly palmed me and suddenly he stopped and rolled off of me.

Joey: You fucking tease.

Shane: Love you too.

I giggled and we changed into our matching onsies. We climbed into bed and soon we drifted off peacefully.

{Time skip by a few hours}

I sat up and my head was pounding with anger. My emotions seemed heightened and every fiber of my being was full of rage.

Joey: I can't take this anymore.

I changed into a shirt and jeans while i pulled my shoes on. I grabbed my phone and something else as i went downstairs and i started walking.
