Chapter 10

Maria's pov

It was now rather late at night and i had just pulled my boots on. My hands were shaking way too much and i haven't even left the house. I took a deep breath as i descended the stairs. Joey was downstairs and he just swallowed one of his pills.

Joey: Where are you going?

Maria: None of your fucking business.

Joey: Fine, god you don't have to be rude about it.

I walked up to him and grabbed his collar pulling it closer to me. I glared at him with anger but fear still lingered somewhere in my mind.

Maria: I will talk how i wa-

Joey: Yea, yea, we've heard it all before. You do what you want, where you want, how you want it. We get it i don't fucking need you telling me every FIVE FUCKING MINUTES!!!

He shoved me away and glared as he left the kitchen walking back upstairs. I'm guessing the drug still hasn't completely worn off yet. I just shook my head and grabbed my keys from the hook as i walked outside. I unlocked the door to my car and slid inside it as the leather cushions sunk as i sat.

Slowly i stuck my key into the ignition and the car roared to a start, i gasped when my phone dinged and i jumped.

Maria: Fucking hell.

I was rather jumpy just because of the call i got this morning. I took my phone out and i checked the message that i just got.

Sunai: You're running late.

Maria: I'm sorry, i had a little talk with someone.

Sunai: Hurry, someone's life is on the line.

I quickly slammed on my gas as i drove to the nearest park. It was totally empty except for a couple cars parked across the street. I parked my car in a random space and i got out running through the park looking for my sister. Soon enough i noticed a hooded figure rested on one of the swings. Not thinking, i ran over to the figure and i stood there out of breath.

Maria: I'm here.

???: Perfect.

The voice surprised me because it came out masculine instead of a low pitched feminine voice that i'm used to.

Maria: Who are you?

???: Call me Jerid.

He looked up at me and he had a slight stubble on his plump face. He wasn't exactly chubby but he wasn't the thinest person either. His eyes looked like they were laced with evil, and with that smirk on his face i know he wasn't playing around.

Maria: W-What do you want from me?

Jerid: I need you to do something for me.

Maria: Why the hell would i do that? I don't fucking know you and also, you're crazy.

I went to leave but he firmly grabbed my hand yanking me to him and then shoving me to the pebble covered ground. I groaned and looked up at him. He kicked my ribs and i coughed as i reveled at the new pain.

Jerid: Remember that threat of a person dying?

I nodded and he kneeled down to me pulling out his phone. He then turned it to show a picture of sunai chained up and unconscious with a badly bruised black eye. I gasped and he put his phone back into his pocket.

Jerid: That's only a tidbit of what's gonna happen to her if you don't listen to me.

Maria: P-Please just let her go.

Jerid: Do what i say and we have a deal okay?

After a long few seconds of thinking i slowly nodded my head. He smirked again and stuck out his hand helping me up.

Jerid: It's a deal?

Maria: It's a deal.

We shook hands and i shut my eyes supressing the tears that were trying to come as he explained to me what i had to do.

Shane's pov

Since i'm a naturally nosy person i decided to hack maria and suani's phones. Maria had nothing to hide besides these rather threatening texts from sunai. Alright so nothing from maria your turn suani.

Joey: Babe, what are you doing?

He leaned his head on my shoulder as he pouted up at me. I smiled and leaned down as we shared a little nose kiss.

Shane: Oh the normal, stalking a few people, messing with a few peoples accounts.

Joey: Oh you would. I love you shaney.

Shane: I love you more joeybear.

He giggled and went back to editing his newest video. I still don't like the whole Youtube thing but it's fine.

Joey: Why don't you like this youtube thing?

Shane: Just because your fans keep asking you to do collabs with hot people and i'm jealous and scared.

Joey: Why are you scared.

Shane: I don't want you leaving me joey.

Joey: I promise to never leave you. I wouldn't have this ring on if i thought otherwise.

I smiled and pressed a kiss on his forehead as i went back to the messages. Wait what? Ok so i've seen joey's name, drugs, and a boss that i didn't know of. I tried to get into his phone but nothing i did worked. That had me very confused, because i'm usually able to hack people's stuff easily.

He doesn't even have a firewall and i can't get through. I'll look through this later, but for right now i'm gonna cuddle with joey.

Rose's pov

I noticed how nervous maria had been throughout the day and i decided to see what was up. And by see what was up i mean i followed her around the whole day and now i was seeing where she was going.

When i get curious things don't usually go too well but i don't care. I noticed her walking over to a man sitting on the swings and after about five minutes he hit her.

Quickly i got out of my car and i rushed to hide behind a tree near the swings as i listened in on the conversation.

???: Is it a deal?

Maria: It's a deal.

What are they talking about? Oh my god, i feel like all of this will somehow lead back to joey. Why is he so special? What did he do?
