Chapter II- Grannum

Grannum's POV

"I'm not okay." I said as I walked out of my "parents" house. Resin and Argent picked me up in their ATV.

FLASHBACK...(4 years ago)
"Let's get him!!" The jocks said and attacked me with full force. I was helpless when they kicked my ass until two figures defended me and saved an unconscious me. A few minutes later, I came to and they were there. "You okay?"said one of them. "Yeah," I replied,"I'm Resin and that's Argent," they introduced themselves. "Grannum." I said, spitting blood out of my mouth. We became friends from that day forward and we were known as "The Tribe"(I came up with the name)

NOW...
We pulled up at school and I saw this girl. "Who is her?" I asked. "That's Rielle. She sits in the back of Deathology class every time. Why'd you dare ask?" Resin asked. "She's cute." I replied. "Dude, remember the last time you said that?" Argent hinted.

The last time(765 days ago, a full Underworldian year.)...

"Dude, who's her?" I asked." That's Hayley Snow(Snow White). She's my partner in Gridiron Science. Why ask?" Resin said."She's cute." I replied."Dude,ask her out. She may be emo, but our motto is "we don't care."Argent egged me on. Three days later, I asked her out and during the date she agreed to be my girlfriend. Seven months later she caught me talking to my ex, Cruella De Vil. She yanked me by my dog-tags and kicked me in le balls. After 1 week, I told her its over.

NOW...
"It's different this time, guys. I've changed." I defended myself.
In Deathology, Professor Farengar gave us a boring lecture on bones. I looked at her and saw her sleeping. She looks cute when she's asleep. The bell rang so I put on my music in my ears. I was playing To Play Hide And Seek With Jealousy by Famous Last Words when I met up with The Tribe to get lunch.

The lunch room...
We were the most respected team in North Gate High. She was there also. The guys and I were sitting in our regular table. When we heard the entire room laugh. I looked and saw Rielle on the floor, covered in food. She ran away so fast, she left a trail behind her. I found her at her locker, looking for something and crying very softly. I walked over and asked," Hey, are you OK?" She just hugged me and cried into my chest. She asked me for my name," Grannum." I said. I glanced at her wrists and saw her scars." May I?" I hummed Pierce The Veil's A Match Into Water and kissed each scar. I looked into her soft grey eyes, " I still think you're beautiful and do you want to be friends?" I asked and she kissed me on my cheek. The bell rang,"I gotta go but see you later?"
"If I live." She muttered. Wasp by Motionless In White was playing when I walked out of school.
