"Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them."

-Psalm 139:16

0.1- "Hurry Up!"

"Hey, Ana," my sister's voice snaps me out of my thoughts as I pull on a pink dress, "we know you're thinking about other things but you need to try on the dress!" She tosses a blue dress at me, and I catch them effortlessly.

More wedding related activities, I could barely contain my excitement.

"Kat, I have to pick out a dress for the gala. I have other obligations besides your wedding." I unknowingly give her attitude, and she glares at me. "Sorry." I breathe out while poking at the pink silky dress, my mind elsewhere from her wedding. It was only by God's Grace that I could get out of bed that morning.

It's not a surprise that Kat would br marrying Zico after a few years of mildly interrupted dating. What surprised me is when he chose to propose, which was on Andrew and I's birthday. And to top that all off, he transferred to PSG during the summer while I was off sorting all kinds of things for Lucho involving the football team. Why? I can't tell you why cause I don't know either.

"Ana, I know I've been bothering you but we have four months, four, until the wedding." She repeated for the eighth time in two hours. "Oh! Which reminds to ask, have you learned your dance yet with Shane?"

I mentally apologize to her, but it seems my boyfriend had other obligations rather than to learn something he and I would use for one night. I didn't blame him.

"No, he had a job in London to do." I say quietly, and all I can hear is a sound of her whine as we look at possible maid-of-honor dresses throughout the bridal shop.

"Even Elisabeth doesn't have so many jobs to do," Kat says under her breath, "are you sure he's modeling and not doing anything sneaky?" She asks me while pulling her chestnut colored hair into a ponytail.

"For the millionth time," I say with an eyeroll, "yes." The way I answer her makes her chuckle as she tosses me another dress, this time it's orange. "He's been my boyfriend for eight months, I trust him." I add on, and for some reason, that sentence doesn't sound 100%.

Kat continues to poke at dresses as I continue to worry about what my boyfriend could possibly be doing. Why wouldn't I worry? Two boyfriends before him gave me all the reason to worry about what he's doing. Especially if he is an in-demand model.

Why wouldn't I wonder?

In all honesty, the lasting effect of seeing Neymar and Gabriella kiss that night jolted how I viewed relationships. I almost rejected Shane in the process, but what a guy he was, he cared about me. He waited for me to sort myself out, and he waited for me to be his girlfriend, he wasn't anything like Neymar.

Which was a good thing.

Or...was it?

"You...do realize that Ney, I mean Neymar is going to be the best man?" She purposely hid behind a rack of clothes as I stopped in my tracks.

Of all the friends Zico had, he just had to choose Neymar as his best man. And for what? It's not as if they're the very best of friends. Certainly great friends for several years, but not that great. Right? Instead of asking all of these questions, I just chose to smile at Kat.

"Best man? Didn't know they were so tight." I commented with genuine intent, and all she did was shrug.

"Well, they have been hanging out a lot more since he got transferred to PSG, but you and Neymar haven't been around each other."
