TheNeymarzetes- Done With You?

ginger_minge- Boy Bait

The sound of several voices awoke me from my sleepy state. I had fallen asleep while doing course work, my drool prominent all over the papers. My head sluggishly lifted off of my stack of papers, and I felt indifferent. I was drowning myself in my course work, hoping to forget about the losses of two days ago. Those painful 90+ minutes.

I heard two--no-- three voices--four. Sounded like Leo, Zico (who really should've gone back to France before my sister blew a gasket), Andrew, and just as I was trying to decipher the last one, my niece's excited shriek filled the duplex. I sprang out of bed, quickly throwing on a pair of gray Nike joggers to cover up my bare legs.

I ran down the stairs with a wide smile plastered on my face, my plan was to swoop in, greet everybody, and then swoop out with Rebekah in my clutches. My earlier assumptions were proven to be true, Zico, Leo, Andrew, and Dani sat on the couch, wrapped up in their exciting Tuesday video game of FIFA, as usual. The media room was just around the corner, and I peered in. My eyes skimmed the darkish room for any sign of Mateo or Gala, who came over with their parents whenever she was there.

Andrew had Rebekah sat in his lap, as he let her hold the controller as he played, constantly swearing at the others in Portuguese. In front of his very impressionable 1 year old.

"Ayi! Look you guys, Bekinha's smoking you all. And she ain't playin'." How do ya feel?" Andrew taunted them in Portuguese, earning an elbow from Leo.

"Speak Spanish, man. I can barely understand what you're saying." He chuckled, cheering as he triumphantly shut everybody up by scoring a goal. "How do you feel Andrew?" Leo pointed at him, acting much like a kid. I giggled quietly, garnering their attention on me. "Well, well. Even your twin, even your twin is laughing at you." The men started to laugh, and Rebekah followed while staring up at her father. "Good afternoon Ana, it's--" he checked his watch, "13:35."

"She always wakes up late when we have a free day off." My brother said, trying to have the attention back onto the flat screen TV that hung on the apricot colored wall in front of them. The men started to talk amongst themselves as my twin grew increasingly impatient. "Guys, the game." He clapped his hands twice, and using two fingers of his left hand and touching his ear. It was something he used to do as a kid whenever he was fustrated, strange, but it was something everybody did on my street as a child.

"Oh yeah." Dani said, turning his attention back to what he was doing in the first place. Dani never did have that chat with me. My eyes squinted at the screen, seeaing that it was Arsenal VS Manchester United, a club that was allegedly having "talks" with Andrew.

"Bekinha, want to come to Tia?" I asked her, opening my arms for her to come to me. She jumped out of her pai's lap, and came running to me. "No, what do we do first?" I denied her, in order to have her practice her manners. She nodded in realization, going back to the group of guys sitting on the couch and waved goodbye.

"Bye Bekinha." They said in unison, not at all paying attention to her timid wave. I met her half way, picking her up into my arms, smooching her cheek. She was obviously feeling much better than how I left her, she had her color and her beautiful three toothed smile again. Melody had told Andrew that she can't stare at screens all day and that she needed the sun more than anything.
