"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;"
Philippians 4:6
-1.1- "She's So Obnoxious."
Neymar's POV
I squeezed the contents of my sports bottle all over my face, tasting the absolute plain taste of water that entered my mouth. It was cold, which was good enough for me. I needed to calm down, it was a heated training session to say the least. I had been sitting on the sidelines for at least five minutes until Leo joined me, taking off his training jersey, revealing the black long sleeved shirt underneath. He was out of breath, walking funny. I began to smirk at him knowingly, and he threw his head back.
"What're you staring at Neymar?" He snapped, but not rudely. His kept rubbing his belly, and I turned my attention to the defensive techniques that were taking place at instruction of Lucho.
"Antonella?" I asked suggestively, taking a swing of my bottle. And Leo nodded, grunting in pain. I chuckled, almost choking on the water. "You must be real happy, it's the third training in a row that you've been walking like that." I winked at him, and he laughing before rubbing his sore back in the process.
"Yeah, and what about you Ney? Vala's still giving you the silent treatment?" Leo wiped his sweaty face with his jersey, watching everything unfold. His question ultimately reminded me of Vala's anger at the whole Brasilian Vogue thing. I was still confused about it three days later.
"Yeah, she's pretty pissed about it. Rafa was trying to convince her thaf it wasn't that bad, and either way, it's not my fault." My shoulders shook as I laughed, Leo held his bottle at an angle with an unsure look about him. I tried to brush off this whole thing, as something that I'd only have to do once in a while. With my ex, at that.
"Well, Ana's crazy, you know that." He was referring to the candid of her confronting me. I chortled as a way of replying. Truth be told, when I saw the candid, I was with Davi and my parents, extremely glad that Val was not with me at that moment.
"But if Vala's overreacting over something that was completely out of your control..." Leo sucked his teeth with wide eyes.I hated it whenever somebody did that. Comparing my exes to my current girlfriend. They did it with Carolina and Bruna, Bruna and Alana, and now Alana with Vala. Lionel was especially guilty of this, but none moreso than Dani.
"Hey man, Alana would've beaten me to a pulp if she heard I were doing something like that with Bruna to 'hype up' the world cup." The editorial was to come out somewhere between March and June God's willing. "You know that." I wasn't looking at him when I said that, my eyes were on an unfolding scene on the field.
"I wasn't even making a gesture toward Alana." Lionel answered, seeming to shift his focus from our conversation onto the same thing I was.
Speaking of Ameros: I saw Andrew running down the pitch with the ball at his feet, looking unreasonably upset. This kid was always mad at something, but you had to love him. As he moved down the field, I saw the determination in Gerard's eyes, ready to block him. It was just them, 1 on 1. As the others stood off, watching, with Lucho observing through his colorful sunglasses.
As Andrew finally stood before Piqué, he tried to cut to the left, and then the right, Gerard being the only thing blocking him from the goal post. Andrew kept his eyes on the ball and his feet, and he finally tried to move passed Piqué.
"Ah, this can't be good." Leo said to himself, and I nodded in agreement.
As Andrew tried to move passed Gerard, Gerard started to hug him as a way to block him. Andrew used one hand to put it to his chest, as a way to tell Gerard to back off. They soon became tangled and I saw both of them turning red. Gerard grabbed Amero's jersey, and yanked it back.
