Anyone who argues with an imaginative author is arguing with imagination itself, and thus is arguing with all hardworking creative users of it. When hardnosed critics argue with this author, they are arguing with imagination, then they themselves are being disputed in the process; for in order to debate imagination, one must be able to debate, and to debate at all one must have imagination. Any such imagination as required to write a story should be encouraged. The author of "Giufà and the Judge", is supremely imaginative and thus has created an undisputable, enjoyable fantasy.

Some might ask why Giufà is shouting at the multi-faceted glittering expanse of the heavenly host. Why would he not? Men are tired after a long day's work and boys love to relax and enjoy themselves. Why then do we criticize an appreciation of the cosmos? Giufà is not insane; he is just having a leisurely look at the cosmos. Is that wrong?

As for the thieves, would not anyone leave their spoils behind in the face of danger? All people who commit wrongs are afraid of capture, and anybody in that situation would flee at the first chance of danger. The thieves were afraid of being caught; as is anyone who does wrong. Because they left behind the beef, the thieves got away successfully. People seeking escape will leave anything behind that will handicap their flight, and the guarantee of a full stomach is lacking when it equals a long prison term, and no thief wants a prison term.

All meat fresh off the animal is good meat after one day. All meat not good after one day is meat not fresh off the animal. Day old flesh is healthy after only 24 hours. So it is by no means impossible that Giufà's mother would sell the meat the next day. People would be willing to buy cheaper meat, even if it was a day old, as long as it wasn't spoiled. Meat is good even after 24 hours, so it is extremely likely that Giufà's mother sold the meat.

And how could anyone doubt that Giufà's mother sold them cat? Mothers are heavily burdened with all the troubles of the world, and having to keep a house as well. She didn't want to hurt her son's feelings, but she still needed the money.

Is it not right to give justice where it is due? The Judge was right to give Giufà the right to kill flies, even though an obese man may not look authoritative enough to do even that. Stealing is deserving of punishment. In this time period stealing more than a talents worth was punishable by death. The Judge realized that the meat was worth a lot, so he gave Giufà satisfaction and a sentence that was just.

Giufà hit the Judge's stern hard-nosed face with the same blow with which he hit the fly. Keeping emotions locked inside makes you a slave to then, but letting then out will set you free. For instance, if you are suppressed, and told you aren't good enough, you can feel free when you tell someone how you feel, and when you achieve your goal. Notice how Katniss overcomes her fear, she expresses it, and lets it out in the right way, not hurting herself or her friends, but her enemies. Giufà did not mean to kill the Judge; he was just frustrated with the flies.

The story of Giufà and the Judge is a great imaginative work, and the author should be praised for writing something so encouraging and light hearted.
