Pete's POV

"Hey, Brendon, I'm here with Patrick. Can we come over to yours?... Okay, thanks; we'll be there in a minute", I hung up and looked at Patrick "let's go."

"So... what did Brendon say about me?", he asked.

"Cool stuff."

"Like...?"

I wanted to complain about his irritating curiosity, but I still had to be patient.

"Like you are a sweet and generous guy."

"Oh... and why does he think that?"

Stay calm, stay calm.

"I don't care about your relationship with Brendon, so I have no idea. And now stop asking things, you're giving my ears cancer", I hissed.

He turned to me with wide eyes: I thought he felt offended, instead he just shrugged and a soft smile appeared on his face.

"Well, I can't deny that you're right: I know sometimes I talk too much. Sorry, I didn't want to sound annoying."

I stayed silent; at least he had admitted that he was a naughty little bastard...

Finally, we arrived in front of Brendon's house.

"Hey, guys! Come in, come in", he greeted us as we entered the huge hall.

We stayed there to talk for a few hours and when it was time to go, Brendon proposed: "Why don't you exchange phone numbers?"

We looked at each other with a weird expression; after all, Brendon wasn't that stupid: he had just gave us a really good suggestion.

"Yeah. Why not?", I shrugged.

Sorry for the incredibly short chapter, it sucks... maybe I'll do a double update today.
