Making A Deal With The Devil

 "ATTENTION!!" A man yelled. Everyone turned to the man on the thrown, he was their leader, he was Nix The Dark, leader of the assassin guild Night Fire.

 "We will be having a guest here, the Queen of Darkness, she is coming to make a deal, and I want no one, NO ONE, to try anything. Anyone who makes an attempt on her life while she is here will be punished greatly!"He stated. 

 Everyone threw their fists in the air. Showing that they would not do exactly what he said. Nix The Dark nodded his head, signaling everyone to continue what they were doing.

 He sat back down and watched everyone, "Father," the leader turned his head toward his son. "You didn't tell me the queen of darkness was coming, why?!" His son demanded. "Because," he simply replied. " Because isn't an answer," his son replied growing angry. Nix let out a sigh, but before he could answer, "LORD!!" a servant yelled, and stopped right before the steps. Panting, he said," The queen of darkness is here." "Bring her to me," He answered. The servant ran out to go get the queen. 

 Everyone else cleared a path and stood quietly, the leader's son stood next to his father. 

 Five Minutes Later

 

The servant returned with a women who's head was covered with a black cloak, the servant went to the side when they reached the leader. "Welcome to my guild,"  Nix bellowed. 

 She lifted her hood, "Thank you, I just hope I don't regret it," She replied. She was a thing of beauty, a little longer than shoulder length hair, bright blue eyes, soft skin, a rare beauty, Nix thought. 

 "So, what is it that you need to discuss?" He asked. "Straight to business, I like that," She smiled, " I need your guild of assassins to help me take out some very powerful people that have been getting in my way, I wish to hire you all, to protect me and to do a lot of assassinating, but of course you will be able to still take other jobs as well, but your first priority would be me," She replied. 

 Nix thought for a moment, she was confident, finally he responded, "Your pretty confident to come here alone, a queen, amidst a guild full of assassins. You make this too easy." Everyone brought out their weapons. He smiled, but then she smiled, "You don't really think I came here alone do you?" She asked. His smile disappeared as quickly as it had come.

 "What do you mean?" He asked. She chuckled," What do you think I mean?" She replied," When I say I didn't come here alone, it pretty much means I didn't come here alone." She snapped her fingers, and out of nowhere, an arrow shot through the air, and landed on the ground near the queen, it had a rope attached to it. Then someone slid down the rope, he let go a few feet before the ground, tucked and rolled, but as he straightened out quickly he pulled out two long black swords. He twirled them and got in a fighting stance.

 "Did you only bring one?" Nix asked, and started laughing, everyone else laughed with him. "Of course not," she shouted. They all stopped laughing, "Of course, he is capable of a lot," She stated, patting her guy on the shoulder, " I decided I would need more, she brought her fingers to her lips, and whistled. 

 Everybody looked up, and ten other people, rose up , most with bows and arrows, since they were at a distance, "Not unless you want a blood shed, we should talk peacefully," She stated. He laughed, "I underestimated you, your highness." "Doesn't everyone," She said, like she was irritated, she walked up to him and pulled a knife to his throat, "Don't ever underestimate me again, I am the Queen Of Darkness, and next time, I will take your lives," She threatened. She then backed up and put her dagger away. He smiled," Now lets discuss this deal." She simply responded, "I have already said what I want."  "Well how about where my men will stay?" He asked. "They can either stay here or they can stay at my castle or places in town," She replied. "It sounds like a good deal, but what about money?" He asked. "Money is no object," She responded. "Alright, well then the plan sounds pretty good, you have yourself a deal," He smiled, and held out his hand to shake. She looked to her guy that was next to her, he nodded, and put his right sword in his left hand and shook the leader's hand. "Don't take it personally, but I don't shake peoples hands, but the deal stands," She explained. He nodded his head, even if he didn't really like it. 

 "Then since we have made our deal, we should be going," She announced. "Don't be silly, its a long travel from here to your castle. You will stay the night and we will move out with you in the morning," He offered. 

 She looked to her guy, he shook his head no, but then turned towards the leader, smiled, "We will happily accept your offer." Her guy slapped his forehead. Then one of her females yelled down, "Keikaku wa nanidesu ka?" He yelled,"Joō wa, kanojo wa rīdā ga yoru taizai suru koto o teikyō ukeireru tame ni okotte iru to, karera wa gozen-chū ni watashitachi to issho ni modoru koto o kettei shimashita!!" Most of them gave death glares, "Come down!!" the queen ordered. They hesitated but then they all repelled down. "Mingle everyone, get to know each other, your all going to be working together," The leader stated.

After everyone finally dispersed, her guys were all together next to the wall, and everyone else was talking and pointing at each other. "Congratulations," She congratulated. "What for?" He asked confused. "You just made a deal with the devil," She smiled, and he smiled back and they went back to watching everyone.
