Demons Can Be Angels But Humans Can Be Demons?!

Chapter 11

Candi's POV:

I swear I'm a lucky bastard. I got there in the nick of time. Skye was in demon form and lunging towards the guy that was sitting on the floor. I tackled him away. As we both fell, I noticed something, Tony was bleeding. That can't be good. I quickly checked the room for something I can restrain the demon with. No luck. Wait I know one!

"TONY! Control your boyfriend before he gets you both killed!" I yelled at the boy sitting on the floor, dumbfounded that I was holding my own. He nodded and pinned Skye to the ground. That's when I noticed it, Tony was bleeding too. Well, this will be an interesting conversation later.

You see, halflings don't get hurt nearly as bad as their mate or even at all. If one does, the other dies of a heart attack... It reminds me of a show I watched where the main death was a heart attack... Stupid Light.

Anyways, demon halflings that had a deep bond with their mate share their pain and suffering as well as other physical emotions. The demons believed it would make them closer to one another. It is true in a sense. I think Skye did it unintentionally since he and tony are still starting out, or his demon side thought it would be fun... They do it sometimes to force the mates closer together.

"Ok, you need to have your memories erased about Skye and I know who can do it... for a price! Come on!" I said dragging the now fainted guy with me.

"Kiss him, he should turn back and if he doesn't, tell him comforting things. He will turn back for sure by then!" I added as an after thought to Tony as I continued to drag the guy.

We got to the forest by their house when my arms finally gave out on me and I dropped the guy. Geez, this guy is an idiot to think he could really have Skye and think he could scare off Tony... Doofus!

"Luce! Where the hell are you?! I need your ass here right now!" I called out, waiting for an annoyed grumble of the said man. When I finally heard the thing I was waiting for. I thrusted a finger in the direction of the passed out guy. Luce's eyebrows rose until he settled on an accusing stare directed at me.

"What the hell is this?" He asked calmly. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"This is the guy that attacked the clients I'm working with for the next while. He fainted and I dragged him here. He saw Skye's demon form. Just erase Skye from his memories and we can leave him there or you can take him home because I still have a job to do! I really don't have time to be dealing with extra shit like this. Rifle will be pissed if he sees Skye in demon form so Tony is working on a way to change him back before heading to the meet up spot Rifle and I picked. Please hurry and I'm heading back, see you later!" I called running back towards the house. I have a feeling that that wasn't the only bad thing I will have to deal with today. I have a feeling that I will be dealing with a spirt or some shit later when I return home. But knowing I just sold the kid's soul to Luce, I'm happy for now!

Tony's POV:

Seeing Skye get stabbed was terrifying, but the chick scared me even more. How do you just tackle someone and pin him down that can kill you with a flick of the wrist? It seems she has experience with fights though. But I caught the look of fear in her eyes before blinking her eyes and going into action. I wonder what happened when she was younger? I guess we have a few years to find out since she is here to stay for a while in our lives with what will happen in the future... Which I still don't want happen because it will affect us all.

"Kiss him..." I tried to listen to the rest but I couldn't hear her. I resorted to lip reading and found out I'm somewhat good at it. Ok if kissing him doesn't work tell him soothing things, got it! I was already pinning Skye down when she threw that comment at me. He still looked beautiful in this form. True, he looked beautiful all the time but people would get disgusted if they knew about Skye. I'm not of course and it pisses me off that I acted like that when I was younger.

I turned my head to look at Skye and his red eye glowed.  I swallowed because I was nervous.  Hell, why wouldn't I?  I've always been nervous kissing Skye and I'm pretty sure I always will be nervous kissing him in the future. 

I leaned down until I lightly placed my lips on his.  It was very quick as I started to pull back.  I got about halfway before feeling a hand with nails scraping my neck pull me down forcefully.  He leaned his head up and smashed his face against mine.  He kissed me desperately and I kissed back almost as desperately.  I felt like I needed this.  I think he did too.  Soon I felt no pressure at my lips and I looked down.  Skye was smiling at me as he started to glow again.  He was changing back. 

"Well, that was unexpected.  I'm sorry everyone had to see that" Skye murmured.  I smiled at him as he smiled back at me.  I'm just happy he's not shoving me back because I'm still over top of him and it could freak him out...

"So, about that kiss... It was wonderful.  Wait, oh my god Tony! Your bleeding!" Skye looked panicked.

"You may want to get that looked at later.  Right now we have to meet a probably angry dragon right now.  Come on." A voice said from the other side of the room.  Great just what we needed, the chick that I still can't remember the name of...

Skye and I got up and followed as best we could after her as she lead us to the meet up place.  A brown and grey dragon sat in the tall grass looking around impatiently.  Wha caught my eye though was the bridle on his snout.  What the hell?

"Oh shit!  It wasn't a spirt like I thought!  We are screwed!"  She gasped.  I turned to look at her as her face wore a look of distaste on it.  I was about to open my mouth and ask her what she meant until a familiar sinister voice answered for her.

"Why hello everyone!  I expected you here!"

(Dragoon here!  Yes, another cliffhanger.  I think the book is gonna come to a close soon.  I think about 5 chapters left!  It could be more knowing me a.k.a the kids tail...  Writers block can be a horrible thing sometimes... Anyways see you soon! Oh and I have a plan of making another book after this on is almost done or like a chapter from completion but it will have ALOT of trigger warnings because it will have a lot of detail.
