Chapter 2: Desperate Measures

I limped out the room at a steady pace. I couldn't go any faster- not with this slit in my back at least. My body moved slowly but my movements were still spasmodic.

I can't keep this up.

I felt my body hit the floor. It's dark.

My eyelids fell down. When I opened them back up I was in a small shed. The shed looked like it was made of scrap metal and all the windows were cracked. There was a classic stove that kept the room warm. There was a hovering sofa that was green, and a painting on the wall. The painting's colors collided in unison. The picture was of something unknown to me. I inhaled the air, I feel safe.

I shut my eyes. "How's life?" The sudden words snapped me out of my trance. "Who are you?" I looked up quickly but saw no one.

"I'm behind you."

I looked over my shoulder.

"Hi."

'Bill Cipher..?!"

I jumped up and moved to the other side of the shed, immediately. I've never seen this famous dream demon before. Not in person at least. I grabbed on to anything in desperation. Anything that's a weapon or can be a weapon. Not finding anything useful, I decided to use the next best weapon. Words.

"Stay the fuck away from me!" I can't kill him while in the mindscape. Luckily, it's the same vice versa.

"Yeesh. I just said 'hi'."

"I said stay away!" I yelled, throwing a picture frame at him. It simply went through his triangular body. It made a zap sound as it pierced him then it hit the floor making a 'cracking' sound.

"Listen, I was thinking that you needed some help."

I then realized I had no idea where I was. "How did I get here?!" I shouted in anger.

"Ahem." He put his fist to his mouth; his eyes... Eye. "I don't believe that you're going to make it out here alive, so I'll help you get out, deal?"

"No deal." I walked out the shed. I swiftly creaked the door open and was not surprised by what I saw. Desert. Sand. More sand. I took a step out and my foot sunk in the ground.

Shit.

I tried to pull my leg out with my free hand but it didn't budge.

"You seem to be struggling a whole lot there."

"Go fuck yourself."

"I will. Just don't go dreaming about it later."

"..."

"Do we have a deal?"

I exhaled. Deals with annoying flying Doritos usually don't end well. I keep forgetting it, but in reality my body's real messed up right now. I can't use it. I won't be able to kill Bill in that state. But I know there's some sort of stupid catch to this. There always is.

"What's the catch?"

"There is none!" The demon exclaimed throwing his hands in the air.

His hands laid outstretched towards me. He waved them impatiently. I noticed his hands were covered in a blue frame. Hesitantly, I shook his hand not wanting to burn myself.

I briefly closed my eyes. In fact, it was almost parallel to blinking.

I suddenly felt pain again and remembered the state I left myself in. I was going to groan in pain but was cut off by a familiar voice. That voice escaped my mouth. I caught myself hysterically laughing at nothing and I began to feel scared.

"Pain is hilarious!"

Oh my fucks.
