"So... You're homeless?"
"My place burned down in a fire yesterday..."
"What?!"
"It was an unfortunate accident."
"Unfortunate accident?! I didn't expect you to say all that!"
"Everything I've held dear is gone. Perished!" Ben buried his face in his hands. "Never to be seen again."
"Well..."
"I have no where to go!"
I saw Rose eyeing me in the corner of my eye but I can't leave this guy out here all alone.
"You can stay with us for the time being."
"I can't! ...I don't want to inconvenience you."
Rose then budded in. "Then don't come-"
"IF YOU'RE GONNA PULL MY LEG!!"
Before we knew it we had happy-go-lucky Ben following us home. Rose was pissed and didn't look at me the entire time but Ben never gave me a chance to breathe.
"Hey (Y/n)!" I looked over at him. "The party has not started yet!"
"What."
"Even though you smashed my annulus, I have a bunch of human games to play!"
"Human games?"
"Yep!"
After a couple more minutes we reached the crash site. It had been cleaned up and camouflaged to look like a house. "This is it." I said, I have to give it to, Footie she was amazing! I walked inside and saw that the 'house' had couches and a television. It even had a fish tank in it.
"Wow..." I spoke looking around. "This is so cool. It really looks like a human living unit."
Footie nodded smiling and Tits sat nodding on the couch. She turned on her voice generator.
"Everyone has their own sleeping chamber, we even have an extra one."
"In that case can my friend, Ben sleep there?"
She nodded her head and got up to guide him to his room.
"Hold on!" He yelled. "I got some human games!"
Before we knew it we were all sitting in a circle waiting on Ben to tell us what to do. "Alright first let's play truth or dare!" He looked over at me dangerously. "Who wants to go first?"
"Um... How do you play, Ben?"
"It's easy! You choose wether you want to tell a truth or do a dare."
"Oh." I said matter-of-factly.
"(Y/n) do you wanna go first?"
Why does this creep only ask me?
"Sure, why not."
"Truth or dare?"
Feeling bold, I decided to choose dare. "Dare!"
"I dare you to..." He thought for a moment. "EAT MY ANNULUS!"
Huh?
He pulled out a donut and looked at me expectantly. I took the pastry from him and immediately started examining it. It looked really appetizing but...
... The prettiest flowers have the deadliest thorns....
I took one small bite of the donut and it's sweet essence melted in my mouth. I could feel the sugar disappear on my tongue and hear my tastebuds singing in joy.
Then I waited.
About 30 seconds past and I'm not dead yet.
That's always a good sign.
"Well? How was it?"
"It wasn't poisoned..."
"Of course it wasn't!"
We all spent the rest of the night playing a bunch of stupidly fun games and it was really enjoyable.
Maybe he's not so bad after all.
