"You don't have to do this, Lexi" Luke whispered
"I want to. Besides, what's the point of Living While We're Young?" I asked
"Lexi, you're only 13. I don't want you to get hurt"
"Pfft" I laughed "You hated me before, remember?"
"Yeah, but everything has changed"
"Luke, you coming?" Owen, the twins' mate asked "And who's this?"
"I'm Alexis, but you can call me Alex or Lexi" I said, sticking my hand out and he shook it
"She your victim for the year?" he asked
"No" Luke laughed "She's my stepsister"
"Oh. The bitch?"
"Yeah. I'm definatly a bitch" I rolled myeyes and walked off
I walked off, around the corner to the park and sat on a swing, using my feet to push me slightly
"Y'Know, a pretty girl like you shouldn't be here, alone" Sam, another one of the twins' mates said, sitting next to me on the other swing
"Why do you care?" I muttered "You don't even know me"
"What if I want to get to know you?"
"Sam, my brothers are your best mates. I don't think they'd aprove?" I laughed
"Who're your brothers?"
"Ever heard of twins called Luke and Liam? Their mum got married to my dad a few months ago"
"Wait, you're.." He looked down "You don't seem like a bitch"
"Mhm" I scoffed "I am once you get to know me"
"I can't believe you're Alexis . So do the twins keep their last names of take your dad's?"
"They kept theirs. And my last name isn't the same as my dad. I'm still listed as Alexis Walker. Not Alexis Preston" I told him "And even if I had my dad's last name and the twins did, one of us wouldn't be here."
"What do you mean?"
"We hate eachother, me and Luke. Liam's alright... I suppose"
[-* Luke's POV *-]
"We hate eachother, me and Luke. Liam's alright... I suppose" Lexi said
She's saying she hates me to save my arse
"Oh" Sam mumbled
"I'd better get going. I promised to take my little sister to cheeky chimps" She got off her swing and made her way home, but she had to get past me
"You lied" I said
"Why? Is it a crime? I was saving your arse" She sighed
"I know. Thank you. But Sam's had more girls than Liam, Owen and I put together" I sighed, it's true, Sam's had about 17 girls in the past 2 months
"That must be a lot" she whispered, as we crossed
"It is." I told her "Liam's already taken Lola to cheeky chimps"
"I know. I was trying to get away from him." She paused "He kinda scares me"
[-* Lexi's POV*-]
I got ready for bed and joined Luke in the spare room, which they use as a cinema because it's got a massive flat screen T.V, and lots of foldy-uppy seat like in the cinema
I sat next to him and grabbed a few peices of popcorn, nodding and he put the movie on

I woke up from the best dream ever
Except I woke up before it ended. Darn alarm clock
"Morning, twins" I chiped as I passed Luke and Liam. Yes, i'd just been to the toilet to throw up
They mumbled a 'morning' and sat down for breakfast
"How come you eat a lot some days, and others you don't?" Liam asked
"It depends on how i'm feeling, like if i'm happy then I can usually eat. But if i'm anything other than happy, i don't even want to look at food and throw up, or just have a drink of water and the hunger's gone" I explained
"If I were you, i'd try and be happy all the time" Luke said
"Happyness never just comes all the time. And if I was always happy, i'd get fat"
Oh great. I said that word.
I ran to the bathroom to throw up, again
"No.Lexi, please" Luke gently spun me around "At least try and eat a apple? For your benefit and so you're not having to drink water all the time. It hurts to think you're starving yourself. You're wasting away. You're dying slowly, without even realising it"
"Fine" I mumbled, going into the kitchen and getting the smallest apple from the fruit basket
"No. Get the bigger apple" he said. I ate it.
'You're getting fat you stupid bitch' The voices in my head kept saying
"Just ignore the voices" Liam said "They're trying to make you feel bad about yourself"
'Don't listen to him. He's lying. He doesn't like you and wants you to get fat'
"No. I can't" I put the apple in the bin and ran to the bathroom again.
I can't keep living like this.

At least Luke and Lexi get along, now.
But that all goes back to normal where they hate eachother in the next chapter.
