Author's Note: Hello :) This chapter probably isn't as long as the others. It's pretty much just a filler, helping to make a transition towards what's going to be happening with Niall and Liam. So, I apologize ahead of time, if it seems rushed. I hope you all enjoy x

Being back in London was a little bittersweet. Maybe it was seeing all of the familiar places or it could have been something along the lines of being back in their beds again. At least, that's how Louis felt. Harry and Zayn went there separate ways, the moment they were dropped off at their own flats. Liam and Niall had to do the same as well, not being able to spend time with one another. It was Paul who proposed the demand, stating that  the two couples should spend time apart until their meeting with their management team. It was best to keep their relationship out of the public eye, as well as keep the cheating scandal hidden. The boys knew they would be in for one hell of a treat, once they walked into that office. It just wasn't fair and Liam and Niall had an emotional, farewell moment, when Niall was the first to get dropped off. Sure, they could call each other and sure, it was only two nights that they would be sleeping without one another - possibly more if things didn't go well; however, it stung like hell and it took everything in Niall not to cause some sort of outrage and protest like a mad man. The blond was now beginning to understand why Liam's concluding-option was to just leave the band, should they be deprived of one another. Niall tossed and turned that night, a whimper escaping his mouth every now and then. The heartache of knowing that things were heading down hill was too much to bear.

Liam, on the other hand, felt as though he wan't going to allow the situation to discourage him. It was his life and he was going to live it his way, no matter what the consequences were. What could possibly be wrong about loving someone like Niall? With that thought in mind, he slipped on his sweater, grabbed his house-keys, then slipped out of the front door. Niall's house wasn't too far away, only a few blocks. It was dark, only the chirping of birds and crickets. The wind blew, causing chills to surge through his skin and blood. It was all worth it though. Niall was worth it. Liam continuously reminded himself that, as he continued walking down the road. Upon seeing Niall's Range Rover parked in the driveway, Liam smiled, picking up his pace a bit. He knew they could possibly get in more trouble, breaking any trust Paul had for them, but right and wrong simply couldn't compete with love. It was either their way or no way at all. Liam stepped on the front porch, contemplating if he should ring the doorbell or knock. Knocking would probably grasp some unwanted attention, if Niall was asleep and he had to knock very hard; He thought for another second, exhaling, as his index finger pushed the doorbell. He waited, for what seemed like hours, because his nerves were getting the best of him. Sure, Liam wasn't as innocent and responsible as people made him out to be. He had a rebellious side, but it was rare. This was just an opportunity he wasn't going to pass up.

He heard shuffling, followed by the Irish tone telling him to hold on a second. The chain was unchained and the locks were unlocked, revealing Niall, covered in a robe and rubbing his eyes free of the sleep. "Liam?" He whispered. "What are you doing here?"

"I had to see you, Niall. I know we're in for a lot of shit tomorrow, but I can't sleep without you." Niall's eyes glistened with tears and adoration, as he nodded and stepped aside, allowing his boyfriend to come in. The house was warm and inviting, luring Liam into a comfortable state. He couldn't wait for the day when they had a home together, not having to sneak in during the middle of the night. Liam stepped into the living room, taking his shoes off and placing them on the side of the couch. Niall approached him, smiling, as he latched on to the hem of Liam's sweater and helped him take it off. Liam felt a little breathless, staring at Niall. The rim of his eyes were a little red, as well as the tip of his nose; but he was still beautiful to the visible eye and Liam couldn't find it in himself to look away. He leaned in, Niall mirroring his gesture, as their lips pressed together gently. Liam wrapped his arms around Niall, making him feel secure and protected. In that moment, all of their worries about the next day evaporated. They were each other's safe haven, willing to stick by one another's side when everything else was crashing down around them. It was okay. They were going to be okay. Niall removed his lips from Liam's, reluctantly, grasping his shirt and pulling him along, as they both headed up the stairs. Niall dropped his robe in the hall, leaving him in just sweat-pants and socks. Liam continued to place kisses all over him, as they blindly stumbled in the room, kicking the door closed behind them.
