School the next day wasn't so bad. In the morning, I sat and laughed Makayla and her friends. I don't trust any of them though. I realize that Makayla is the only one that will really have my back no matter if we do not alway get along, but everyone else on this planet is fake. Well, except for my parents and Micah. He just likes looking out for me, and with Dad always working, he feels like he is obligated to.
"Why are you so quiet?" Makayla asked. I shook my head. I needed somebody to talk to, but not her, not them. I need advice. I need Micah. I looked at him two tables in front of me. He wasn't facing me. So I texted him.
McKenna💕- Can I ask you something.
BigLilBrother- I guess...
McKenna💕- How would you feel if I took Logan back?
"What the fuck?" Micah yelled. A lot of people looked at him. He looked at me. He pointed to the door and mouthed now. I obediently walked to where he was pointing because he looked highly pissed off, and I didn't want to anger him any more.
"Micah before you go crazy just let me explain." I said. He took a deep breath as we walked through the doors.
"Go ahead." He told me.
"Dominic doesn't want anything to do with me anymore. I tried to apologize, but he didn't want to hear it, and he's the reason me and Logan broke up." I said.
"So Dominic put Logan's dick in India's mouth?" Micah asked sarcastically. I glared at him.
"Not literally, but metaphorically, yes. Logan thought I was going to leave him for Dominic so he was just using India. He doesn't really like her." I told him. He nodded with a sarcastic smile.
"And you believe that? They really need to rethink this grading scale because you stupid as fuck." Micah said as he walked back into the cafeteria.
"Micah-"
"I don't want to hear anymore McKenna." He said. He sat back in his seat, and I sat in mine. Micah turned to Dominic, and Dominic looked at me. I just looked at Makayla.
"What was that about?" Makayla asked. I just shook my head, and the bell rang.
1st period was dead. Second period was a little better. The teacher called her Sous chefs to lead the class. That is Dominic and I. He's executive Sous Chef. I'm under him, but I still have the title Sous Chef. The two of us had to lead the class without assistance. I grabbed the recipe from the counter and we looked at it together. We were making a full meal: an appetizer, a salad, a main course, a desert, and we had to make our own non-alcoholic drink.
"So I'll separate them into groups. You make sure they wash their hands and pick up aprons." Dominic said.
I nodded. I stood by the sinks as everyone washed their hands I tied the aprons on them if the needed help. Then, Dominic split everyone into their groups and the two of us washed our hands. Everything ran smoothly. Every time I walked by Logan, Dominic watched my every move. I just ignored him. I tried to tell him how I felt, but it was too late. When, the food was finished, we cleaned up the kitchens and set the tables. We had to make sure it was set properly, and everything was in the right place. We had to monitor every detail, down to the type of napkin fold they used. Dominic and I had to sit at the table together while we ate to watch everyone and make sure they were practicing good dining etiquette. I was tired of watching people, but I knew that the teacher was watching me, so I didn't my job.
Lunch was plain. I went to Subway, but I decided to go sit with Aysia, Chyna, and Jordan. I was tired of being with McKenna's crew. I have close to nothing in common with them.
"So what's the tea?" Aysia asked laughing. She's my tea partner. No matter how long we go without actually talking to each other, nothing changes.
"Well, Micah is upset with me because I'm considering taking Logan back." I said.
"I thought he cheated on you," she said. I nodded. "I mean everyone makes mistakes, and I don't think he'll be stupid enough to let you go for a second time. Just look at you." She said.
"Thank you for understanding. Now, what's your tea?" I said.
"I heard that the girl Dominic is with is only with him because India is paying her. She really needs the money and Dominic is so love blind, he'll never see it." Aysia told me. I just shook my head.
Why would India do that? She just wants to mess with my life. I'm not going to even give them a second thought. I just hope he doesn't get too hurt when he finds out the truth. It won't come from me though. Third block was relaxed as usual. I gossiped with Jordan mostly. She gave me a lot of information on what I had been missing out on. In fourth block, I just took a nap because I had no one to talk to, and we were taking notes on a subject that I already mastered.
When I got home, Dominic was there with his girlfriend again. I walked in and sat beside her on the couch and smiled. Dominic was in the kitchen.
"Hey McKenna." She smiled.
"Hey. I never got your name." I said.
"I'm Elise." She said.
"I love that name, and she was one of my favorite people from bad girls club." I said.
"Oh my gosh." I love bad girls club. What's your favorite season?" She asked.
"I loved season twelve bec-"
"Hey what are you two doing?" Dominic asked as he walked in with Micah.
"We're just talking." I said.
"She very nice. She wasn't rude or over sarcastic like you said." Elise said. I laughed.
"I am, but only to people that I don't like or that get on my nerves like them." I said she nodded and smiled.
"To be honest, I expected you to be all mean and try to insult me." She said. I shrugged as I stood up.
"Nah. There's really no use. The relationship is bullshit anyways."
I walked out of the house and got into the my car. I was just doing what Dominic did to me and Logan. I drove to the public library and looked through the shelves. I chose a book that looked interesting and sat in the bean bag chair and opened it. I got pretty far when the book was pushed down gently. I looked up at Dominic and smiled sweetly.
"How'd you find me?" I asked.
"You have no friends, so where else would you go?" He asked.
"I could have gone to Logan's house." I said. His face fell.
"I just wanted to tell you that jealousy is not a good look on you," He said. "Don't try to ruin my relationship. I think I like this girl. I'm not just going to leave her." He said. How did he grow feelings for her overnight? He couldn't have. Meaning he's probably been talking to her all along, and if that's true, I don't want anything to do with him anyways.
I shrugged, "Ok." He walked out of the library, and I went back to my book, and that was our last conversation for a while.
