I woke up slowly climbed out of my bed. Yesterday was so emotionally draining. I don't even know what to feel like. My dad is still awake. He's a really hurt though. He wouldn't let me stay with him, which really made me sad. He told me that I needed to be in school. He's the reason why I keep my grades so high. I love making him happy. I got dressed and got immediately in my car. I drove to school and sat beside Aysia.
"Is your dad ok?" She asked. I put my head down as tears poured again. Just the thought of almost loosing my dad just hurts. I felt arms around me, but I knew they weren't hers.
"McKenna he'll be ok." Dominic said as he slid on the other side of me. He wiped my face.
"I know." I said as he finished wiping my face.
"Where's that beautiful smile?" He asked. I slightly blushed as I smiled a little. He kissed my cheek. "There we go." He said. I rose my eyebrows. Did he just kiss me in front of everyone. I looked around, and surely they were watching.
"Well you're going to be in trouble." I mumbled. That's when he realized what he just did. The bell rang, dismissing us to first block. I stopped by my locker and then went to first block. It was just like everyone was looking at me. I didn't kiss him this time, so I'm completely innocent. Before I walked into the classroom my books were slammed out of my hands.
"Oops." The girl said with false regret. It was Elise's best friend, Tonya. Elise stood beside her laughing.
I looked at them for a minute before deciding to just pick up my books. Elise purposely stepped on some of my papers, leaving her footprint. I nodded. Violence is not the answer. I pulled out my phone and called a good friend. I put it on speaker.
"Hello Dr. Howard?" I asked.
"Hello Ms. Crowder. How are you?" He asked.
"I'm not doing so good. I think I might transfer school districts and take my awards elsewhere because there's these girls that are making it hard for me." I said.
"Who? What's there names? I can handle them right away." He said. I love being friends with the superintendent. I muted the phone and looked at them. They gave me the oh shit face. They shook their heads, begging me not to. I unmuted the phone.
"I don't think they'll be bothering me anytime soon, but I'll call you if I decide that it is unsafe for me to attend this school. " I said. Without Dominic and I, this school would definitely be on the list of schools to be taken over by the government, and Dominic can't hold it by himself, especially since he's worried about chasing hoes.
I walked into the classroom and took my seat. Dominic talked my head off all period. In second block, I completely ignored him as I sat at my desk. Logan refused to look at me, but his friends were surely starring intently at my every move.
"McKenna. What is wrong with you?" Dominic asked.
"I think it's best we don't talk that often. Everyone thinks we had sex and then you kissed me this morning. You have a girlfriend, so imagine how I look." I told him.
"Since when do you care about what people think of you?" He asked.
"Since you're girlfriend and her best friend tried to get me to loose my scholarship this morning. Everything in me wanted to punch her in the face." I said.
"What did they do?" Dominic asked.
"Don't worry about it. I talked to Doctor Howard." I shrugged. Dominic looked at me for a minute.
"Did you get my girlfriend kicked out of school?" He asked.
I shrugged, "Not yet." I shrugged.
