Tears

I woke up Monday morning and took a shower. I brushed my teeth and walked into my room with a towel wrapped around my body. An outfit was laid out of my bed for me with a note that said you're welcome. I laughed as I picked up a bra and began getting dressed. I walked downstairs to see Makayla wearing an identical white outfit. I grabbed an apple out of the fruit bowl and we got into my car. We pushed our shades down as walked into the school.

I felt every eye on us as we walked into the cafeteria. All of the students stay in the cafeteria to eat breakfast until the bell rings. I saw Logan. He looked so shocked. I hugged Makayla and we parted ways. Dominic walked up to be immediately and wrapped his arms around my shoulder.

"You look beautiful today." He said. Mumbles erupted immediately.

"You hear that? That's all yo hoes planning how to kill me." I told him. I hadn't realized everyone was still listening until they erupted in laughter. I covered my face as I sat down by Lauren and Courtney. Dominic sat on the side of me.

"Good morning." Lauren and Courtney greeted me.

"Good morning." I said and so did Dominic.

"So you want to tell me what happened yesterday because I just saw Dominic carrying you into your house. It was kind of wierd looking." Courtney said.

"Oh. I cried myself to sleep because I found out Logan was cheating on me with India Smith." I said. They both gasped. I looked at Logan.

All of his friends were clowning him. They knew about me, but they must have known about India too. I was mad at India and Logan, I'm really still crying inside, but I couldn't let that interfere with my school work. That's in turn interfering with my money, which will get a bitch killed. I'll get over it. I will find someone better than him. He will miss me.

Dominic wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close to him. He wiped the tear that had escaped from my eye. I looked at him and he looked at my lips as he licked his. I felt us leaning in, but I turned my head and pulled out my phone. He did the same thing.

BigLilBrudda- Why you did my bro like that?

Me- What are you talking about Micah?

BigLilBrudda- You just dissed him, and everyone saw it. He can say goodbye to all his hoes because his sex life is over.

I turned around and looked at Micah like 'What the fuck' I didn't even care that everyone was watching me. Maybe they should mind thier business. Micah waved his phone as to say look.

BigLilBrudda- Give my nigga some love.

I laughed and shook my head.

"Dominic." I said he turned and looked at me. I kissed him on the cheek. Before he could react, or anyone else, the bell rang, and everyone disappeared down the hallway. I dodged through the crowd. I sat in my seat and closed my eyes praying that Dominic didn't sit by me. He did. He sat right beside me and watched me ignore him.

In second block, Culinary Arts III, I stood in the kitchen reading over my recipe. Dominic stood beside me. Looking over it too. I looked around the room, and surprisingly, the only person that was watching was Logan.

"So you want to be my partner?" He asked.

"I would love to, but Lauren already asked." I lied

"Lauren can I be MK's lab partner?" Dominic said.

"Ion care."She shrugged and turned to talk to this girl named Aysia. So much for that. Dominic pulled my chair closer to him.

"Why are you acting like a stranger?" He said. I looked down and shrugged. "If you're worried about earlier, and what I think, I thought it was cute. I love spontaneity." I smiled as he kissed my cheek.
