Chapter 10

James’ girlfriend= Jasmine

Skip’s girlfriend= Robyn

Luke’s girlfriend= Harriet

Jade's P.O.V

I eventually managed to bring myself to getting out of the pool. I lay down on the deck chair and let the hot sun dry my body. I switched on my phone and raised my eyebrows when I saw I had 3 missed calls.

"Whats up?" Robyn asked as she saw my face.

"3 missed calls from Beau." I mumbled as I dialled his number to see what he wanted. It rung for ages with no answer, I sighed and just chucked my phone aside, thinking nothing of it.

"Anyway you girls staying over?" I asked.

"You have work tomorrow you dip shit." Harriet replied and laughed. I sighed, I just wanted to see Beau tomorrow, if he called me 3 times it must have been pretty important.

"Shit I forgot about work." I muttered.

"Yeah because you bearly ever go!" Harriet laughed. "I wish I could have a well payed job like you, rather than working in shitty mc donalds." 

"Well maybe you should have thought about that before you bunked off school pretty much every day." I laughed with one eyebrow raised causing Harriet to just chuckle and shrug.

"Should we go to the Brooks' house for a bit?"  Robyn asked. "I'm texting Skip and he said all of the boys are there apart from Beau." 

My face fell from its smile when Robyn said Beau wasn't there.. Had he gone to Maddy's house? He said he would if the girl rejected him..

"Yeah might as well, lets go." I said, I wanted to see them to be fair, I hadn't seen them since the beach trip.

We gathered all of our stuff and made our way out to my car. It was big enough for us all and easier than taking separate cars. Typically as soon as we were all in Jasmine switched on the radio to full blast resulting in us all screaming the lyrics to songs. We couldnt stop laughing once I had pulled up to the boys house.

Luke ran straight out of the house to Harriet and gave her a huge hug resulting in me and the girls 'aww'ing . 

"Long time no see girls." Luke said and smiled at us as we walked in. I never have been that close with Luke but he still is a great friend. I have always been the closest with Skip and Beau. 

"Skip!" I said excitedly as I saw him in the lounge watching tv.

"Hey Jade!" He said and pulled me into a hug.

"Ahem. Jade, can I hug my boyfriend please?" Robyn laughed before taking my spot of hugging Skip. 

I hugged Jai and James before sitting down on the floor, facing all of those who were on the couch. "What should we do?" I asked no one in particular.

"Truth or dare?" Luke said excitedly whilst winking at Harriet causing her to blush.

"Fine but I'm watching not playing, god knows how this will end up, and I have Ariana." Jai said. We all got into a circle on the floor and turned on some music.

"Ok Robyn goes first." I said and smirked. "Truth or dare?"

"Truth." Robyn said and blushed.

"If you weren't dating Skip who would you date in this room?" I asked and grinned evily.

"Sorry Skip, I love you loads but it would have to be... Jai, because he is taken so it would never happen." Robyn said, proud of her answer. Jai didnt even look up from his phone, he probably didnt even hear.

I laughed, "Fair enough."

"Right you asked me so it's only fair that I get to ask you next." Robyn said with one eyebrow raised. I sighed but agreed.

"Who do you fancy?" Jasmine butted in.

"It was my turn to ask." Robyn pouted.

"Yeah but she's the only single one here so we wanna know." Luke shrugged and laughed.

"Oh thanks Luke, reminding me that I'm the spare wheel of this group." I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"Sorry," He chuckled. "But come on you can trust us!"

"Do I have to say?" I said becoming more and more red.

"Yes." Everyone in the room said at once.

"I have no idea how you dumb boys dont know this, its the most obvious shit in the world but its... Beau." I said and hid my face in my hands, I didnt want to see the boys reactions, I think James already knew, but I didnt know whether the rest did.

I looked up to see them all looking at each other awkwardly.

"What?" I asked nervously.

"Well its just-" Luke started to say. I heard the lounge door open I turned around to look.

"Hey guys." Beau said with a smile on his face, Maddy was next to him and he had his arm around her. "Guess who has got a girlfriend!" He laughed and kissed Maddy's cheek before looking me straight in the eyes.

Shit.
