Soon after a Dipper was done telling his interesting stories, I heard the door swing open. One bigger man, and one teenage girl walked into this gift shop area.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you that the Mystery Shack is also a tourist attraction, so you'll have to get used to seeing people in the gift shop and exhibit areas." Dipper informed me. I nodded.
"Hey Dipper!" The big man yelled.
"What's up, Dipper?" The teenager said and held out her fist for a fist-bump.
"Who's that?" The big guy asked and pointed  at me.
"Oh, this is Mia." Dipper answered him. "She ran away from home and is going to stay here."
"Oh, what's up Dog, I mean, Mia." He said and gave me a high five. "I'm Soos."
"Hey, Soos, that's a pretty cool name." I answered him.
"I'm Wendy." The teenager said and smiled.
"Cool. So will I have a job here because I now live here?" I asked to all of them.
"Stan will probably put you to work, but I wouldn't say a job." Wendy answered.
"Thanks." I said back. These people seemed pretty cool, and this town sounded really crazy-awesome. Mabel was really fun and sweet, a big difference from my stuck up little sister. Dipper was really friendly, fun, and supportive of my theories, unlike my big brother. Soos seemed really fun and like he would let you do anything that seems cool, the opposite from my uptight dad. Wendy seemed laid back and cool, unlike my mom who is frustrated from everything. Stan was, a little mysterious but still he seemed better than any of my blood family. Everyone I've met so far is a polar opposite of my family, which was pretty awesome. I feel like I'm going to have a great summer.
"Hey, you all want to go out to lunch so we can get to know Mia better? I'm sure Stan wouldn't mind." Soos said.
"Yeah!" I answered.
"I'll go get Mabel." Wendy said and walked up to her room.
"We can go to that café place so you can meet Lazy Susan and a whole bunch of other people." Dipper said, his suggestion receiving a thumbs up from everyone. Right when I turned around out the door, Mabel grabbed me.
"Here I made you this!" She said and shoved a white wooden sign at me. It had my name in bright pink permanent marker with an outline in blue. It also had small smiley face sticker, and lots of rhinestones. "I made you a bedazzled sign! Do you like it?" She asked. It was a little too girly for me, but I appreciated it, and deep down I did like it.
"Yeah, I do!" I answered and set it down on the counter.
"Yay!" She exclaimed happily.
***Time skip to lunch***
At the café I sat between Dipper and Mabel, and Soos and Wendy were on the other side.
"Don't tell anyone," Mabel whispered. "But Dipper has this HUGE crush on Wendy!" She whispered, so Wendy didn't hear, but apparently Dipper did. I giggled a little.
"Mabel!" He exclaimed quietly, anxiety coating his voice.
"Hey don't worry." I said. "I never give away anyone's secrets."
"Phew," He let out a breath of relief. Suddenly, an old lady with a weird eye came up to our table.
"What will you have?" She said. We whispered our grand meal plan. Soos was going to order it.
"We'll all split a large pepperoni pizza, and for drinks we all want chocolate shakes." He said. We all smiled.
"Okay!" She exclaimed. Then she gave me a weird glare. "Who's this."
"This is Mia." Dipper said. I blushed as he continued to talk about me like I didn't know how to say anything about myself.
"Oh hi, Mia. I'm Lazy Susan. Welcome to Gravity Falls!"
"Hi." I said back. Everyone must've heard Lazy Susan because everyone in the restaurant shouted,
"Welcome to Gravity Falls!" Gravity Falls. What a strange name. It's fits a strange town. A few minutes later we got our pizza and shakes. I bit into my pizza. It was so good, and my shake was so chocolatey and sweet. This was way better than any food my family could make. As we all ate, talked, laughed, and enjoyed ourselves at our booth, I felt more and more at home here in Gravity Falls.
