The return of nightmare moon

In the palace of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, Luna was pacing back and forth something awful has happened and she needed help Luna doesn't normally seek help but she needed it, she used her magic to create a scroll to write a letter to twilight

"Dear Twilight Sparkle we are in desperate need of your help thou can not solve this on our own please hurry and bring your friends as well"

Luna sent the letter to Twilights little dragon friend spike

"Those ponies you call your friends are to weak to defeat me"
Luna closed her eyes this could not be be happening

After about fifteen minutes the castle doors burst open and Twilight and her friends came running in followed by the sounds of gun shots Luna used her magic to quickly shut the doors

"Princes Luna is everything alright?"
Twilight called racing towards the princess
"Twilight Sparkle thank thy so much for coming, and there is indeed a problem"
All of a sudden there was laughter in the distance Twilight and her friends knew this laugh it was familiar to them
"So these are your little pony friends who are going to stop me oh I'm so scared"
Luna looked around the room for the evil mare
"Show yourself!"
Luna shouted stomping her hoof on the ground

The room grew darker and a tall mare with a mane representing the night appeared she smiled showing off pointed teeth
"Hello Luna did you miss me?"
"Why would we miss thou?"
"You used to love me Luna I helped you take over Equestria with our beautiful night"
"Silence!"

Nightmare moon walked closer to Luna she spread out her wings
"Luna remember the fun times we had you and I?"
"They were not good times!"
"We used to rule the night together"
"Silence!"

Twilight and her friends ran to Princess Luna's defense Twilight stared at nightmare moon there was something different about the evil mare
"Ah I remember you"
"And I remember you"
The evil mare smiled walking closer to twilight
"Do not come near my friends!"
Nightmare moon reached out her hoof touching Luna's chest as her hoof seemed to sink into her
"We could still be something Luna and rule Equestria once again"
"I will never betray my sister or friends ever again!"

Nightmare moon pulled her hoof away from Luna she flared her wings as her hair slowly surrounded her, Luna stood her ground incase the mare was ready to attack

"Luna remember you can't get rid of me forever I am a part of you"
"You are not a part of me I will never commit to your evil deeds"
Nightmare moon laughed her hair surrounded more of her and like that she was gone
"Princess Luna are you alright?"
"I don't know twilight sparkle I just don't know what we can do"

Luna felt a tear roll down her cheek as the blue alicorn used her magic to disappear

"Twilight is the princess alright?l"
Fluttershy asked as Twilight looked around the room making sure the evil mare of night was gone
"I don't know Fluttershy but we must help her Nightmare moon will just add more chaos to this war and Princess Celestia can't handle this all on her own"
Twilight turned around and faced her friends
"We are going to get rid of nightmare moon for good and help princess Luna"
