The rerurn of Sombra

He looked over the crystal empire which used to be beautiful until something happened and he became an evil king wanting to take over the empire and make it his own but that was thousands of years ago he learned his lesson and now he looked upon the empire torn apart by ponies fighting one another in a horrible war, the Stallion watching was none other than King Sombra he had come back to the empire to see how his used to be citizens were doing but when he saw what was happening he felt as though he had a part in all of this another reason he was there was because soon after arriving he noticed Celestia was trapped at the top of the palace and he is willing to help her escapee

Celestia was becoming impatient she wanted to know how ponyvile was how twilight was handling things but most of all she wanted to see her sister
"Celestia!"
Celestia looked over towards the window where she heard her name that's when she saw him a grey stallion with black wavy hair staring at her
"S...Sombra?"
Celestia questioned and the stallion walked towards her
"Are you alright?"
He asked
"I..I'm fine"
The stallion closed his eyes and touched his horn to the cage as it sparked red and the cage door flew open
"Why are you helping me?"
"Because Celestia I'm not the evil King you know me as anymore"
"Than who are you?"
The stallion held his hoof out to help Celestia out of the cage
"I'm the stallion you fell in love with long ago"
Celestia fell silent she wasn't quite sure how to reply nor did she believe him considering the fact he tried to take over the empire twice
"How do I know it's really you?"
The stallion smirked and walked over to the window
"Sometimes you just have to believe"
"How can I..."
But she stopped when the stallion sighed
"I don't know how to prove it to you but I do know we don't have much time it looks like the empire needs our help"
"It's not just the empire it's all of Equestria"
Sombra closed his eyes he didn't remember much about Equestria he only knows the crystal empire but he knew that if Equestria was just as important to Celestia he would help
"Sombra I must go to Equestria and help my friends"
"Indeed"
"But I promise i will come back and help you"
Sombra was about to reply when the door burst open to a evil mare
"Leaving so soon?"
Celestia gasped as nightmare moon flew at her but Sombra used his magic to block her with a giant black crystal rock object
"Quickly Celestia you must go and help your friends"
"But I can't leave you here to fight by yourself"
The crystal burst in pieces and nightmare moon grinned
"Isn't this sweet the prince saving the princess"
"You will do no harm to her"
"Than I'll settle to do you some harm"
Nightmare moons horn lit up as she fired at Sombra but Celestia used her magic to create a force field
"Come with me Sombra and together we can save ponyvile and all of Equestria"
Sombra looked out the window to see the crystal ponies fighting he knew he couldn't stop them on his own
"But my duty is to the empire"
Celestia closed her eyes and used her magic to push the force field as it hit nightmare moon as she flew back
"Quickly Sombra lets go"
"Celestia..I have to stay and help the crystal ponies"
And like that he teleported out of the palace Celestia could tell who he really was it was really Sombra
"Thank you"
She whispered before teleporting to ponyvile
