Tobias's POV
The doctors let me sleep at the hospital with Tris, at least until she wakes. They gave me a sleeping bag and clean clothes. I wake up to heavy coughing. Tris is in the hospital bed shaking, blood coming out of her mouth. I call for a nurse and try to wake her up. The nurse comes in and lifts her onto another bed and wheels her out of the room. I run after them into a room where there is only one bed. The nurse cleans up the blood from her mouth and attaches a breathing mask to Tris. She is still again. Breathing slowly, and gently. I don't want to think it, but Tris could be dying, for real this time. I sit on the bed next to her and rub circles on top of her hand.
I start crying. Pressure is applied to my hand, lightly. It gets a little harder then stays there. Tris's eyelids flutter open and her beautiful blue-gray eyes stare at mine.
" Stop or you'll rub a hole into my hand. " she croaks. I laugh at her and hug her, never wanting to let go. She starts to fiddle with the mask on her face.
" No, you need to keep that on. " I tell her putting it back on her face and pulling away her hands. She grunts and grabs my hands.
" Why am I here?" she ask
" You were bleeding really badly on the back of your head so I brought you here. " she reaches one hand behind her head but yanks it back.
" How did this happen? I don't remember anything from the past few hours. " Crap.
" I don't know you were kidnapped and I didn't see you after. " I say. Her eyes water up and tears fall onto her cheeks. I wipe them away with the side of my hand and hug her.
" I don't want to leave you. " she says inbetween sobs
" We'll be home soon, promise. " I tell her. Tris nods and wraps her arms around my neck.Tris fell asleep about a hour ago. I slip out and fill out papers so I can bring her home tonight. I walk back to the room and carry her behind her knees and back. We had to keep the oxygen mask with us to make sure she had no more coughing fits. I set her down on my bed and go to sleep on the couch.
Tris's POV
I wake up with something on my face. The oxygen mask. It's connected to a tall can next to the bed. I pull the can along with me as I go wake up Tobias. I nudge his shoulder. He wakes up and hugs me.
" I didnt think you wanted that mask so I got you something. " he stands up and walks to the kitchen. He pulls out a long, clear tube. It's mostly smooth except for two little nubs in the middle. He unscrews my mask and hooks up the tube. For their brief moment between the change I couldn't breath and my throat felt horrible. But then he but the nubs in my nostrils and smiles at me. Then he kisses me. I feel a shiver go through my body.
When we part he grabs my hand and we walk out the door. He's taking me to the cafeteria. When we get inside some people stop what they're doing, others don't, and look. Christina's eyes meet mine and she runs over to me.
" What happened? " she ask.
" Don't know. "
"Let's go sit down." we sit down at the table and the questions just flood in. Uriah is just chatty tonight and keeps asking the same questions until I answer. Everyone gets settled down, finally, and we eat.
The cafeteria doors open and and in walks, Eric?
" Alright buttheads, as long as you cooperate no one will die. 'Kay? "Authors Note

P. S. I know you probably don't need a oxygen tank when you cough and spit up blood, but I wanted it to be that bad ( I don't want her to die BTW)
