Chapter 5

Tobias's POV
I did it. I asked her to marry me. We walk hand in hand to the infirmary to ask about Tris's oxygen tank. She has had it for about two days and is already tired of it. I laugh to my self trying to make it quiet.
" What's so funny mister?" Tris ask me
" Nothing." I say. She smiles at me and shakes her head. We reach the infirmary and I sign in Tris. We sit down in the waiting room and holds hands. About ten minutes later a nurse comes back and calls for Tris. We reach a small room and the nurse ask her to sit. And we wait again! God all the waiting! Then the doctor comes in and test Tris and then hands her a slip of paper. I get up and she hands it to me. It says she no longer needs it. I smile at her and kiss her.
" Would you like to do the honors? " she ask me.
" Of course m'lady. " I say. She giggles and I put my hands on her face. Slowly I remove the tube and toss it on the floor. She looks different without it. I must have gotten used to it.
She pulls me into a kiss and puts her arms around me. I grab her hand and walk out of the infirmary.
We reach the apartment and go to sleep.

Tris's POV
I wake up in the clothe I wore last night. I'm lazy. I see Tobias next to me with one arm draped over me and the other on his face. I try to scoot closer to him with waking but but I fail. He opens his eyes slow and smiles at me. He pulls me closer.
" I wove you Twis." he says. His voice is still heavy with sleep making him sound like a baby. I laugh. He gives me a look of disgust and then kisses me.
I get up and get into cleaner clothes. Tobias fell asleep again and is now on his stomach. I smile and write a note to tell where I will be. Christina asked me to hang out with her so I head over to her place.
I knock on the door and she opens up instantly. She smiles and let's me in. Her hair is up so when she turns around I see a small snake tattoo behind her right ear.
" I see you got a tattoo like Uriah's. " I say
" Yeah it only seemed right after he died. " she says, her voice cracking. Christina sits next to me.
" We have so much catching up to do. " she says

I end up staying the night here. Around midnight I am still not asleep. I get up and walk out. Only a shirt and underwear are on my body so I'm very cold. I reach Tobias's apartment and open the door. A lamp is on in his bedroom giving some light.
" C'mere. " he says. I lay in bed with him and he embraces me. He plants a kiss on top of my head. Then we are off to sleep.
