When I opened my eyes, all I saw was dark.
Pitch black kind of dark. Where you can't see your hand in front of my face.
I only knew my eyes were open because I felt the cold air on my bare eyes.
A door opened, flooding the room with light.
A man with gray skin, in black robes, walked in.
"Wh-who are you?"
"My darling, I'm Pitch, do you not remember me?" He said
I shook my head.
Actually, now that I think of it I couldn't remember anything.
"Do you remember your name?"
I shook my head again
"Well, darling, your name is Eira Black. My wife."
"Your wife?"
"Yes."
"Why can't I remember anything?"
"Bad people, who call themselves the Guardians, hurt you, and you died. I brought you back to life, but you must have lost your memories in the process, but don't worry, I'll protect you."
I only nodded, trying to decide if I should trust this man or not.
"Eva!" He called
A girl, with waist length hair, and a green dress on came running in.
"Y-yes father."
"Tend to your mother, I have some important business to tend to."
"Yes father."
Pitch walked out of the room leaving me with Eva.
"So your my daughter?" I asked
"W-what?" She seemed shocked that I would ask her that question
"He called me your mother, so I'm your mother?"
"Uh, yea, step-mother. Can I ask you something."
"I guess."
"What happened?"
"What?"
"How did you die?"
"Oh, I'm not sure, Pitch just told me that people called the Guardians hurt me."
Her eyes widened "You don't remember anything?"
"Nope."
"Nothing?"
"Nothing."
