THIS IS LITERALLY A SUPER SUPER SHORT CHAPTER BUT I HAD THE IDEA IN MY HEAD AND I HAD TO WRITE IT DOWN

When: Twins are 7!!!! (In grade 2) PLEASE NOTE I'M BRITISH AND IDEK IF THAT FITS I HAD TO ASK MY AMERICAN FRIEND

A/N: (At least in the UK) we have main schools that offer deaf departments. Idk if any of you have heard of SEN (Special Educational Needs) department in schools, but it falls into that category. However deaf departments are more specialised and they have a Teacher of the Deaf and a whole bunch of note-takers or translators, etc etc. I went to 2; primary and secondary (sorry Americans lmao). Because Jisoo is hearing but Yunsoo is deaf, these type of schools allow them both to go to the same school! :)

ALSO: a reminder that if anyone speaks around Yoongi, they are also signing at the same time :)

Warning because there's mentions of hate comments in here

Jimin was in the bath when his phone rang. He shrugged it off quickly, whoever it was could wait. But his phone kept on ringing. Once it went to voicemail, there was silence for a few seconds before it rang again. Yoongi was in the living room, but he was unable to hear it, so eventually Jimin sighed heavily, getting out the bath and pulling his robe on. He grabbed his phone and slumped down on the sofa next to Yoongi, who was working on editing some of his photography. "Hello?" "Mr Min?" Jimin hummed in response, glacing over at Yoongi's work. It was a photo of Yunsoo grinning happily, and it looked adorable because his front tooth was missing. "Are you able to come into school right now?" "What happened?" Jimin sat upright, his heart racing at the mention of school. The receptionist refused to give any details over the phone, and Jimin was fumbling through his wardrobe quickly, looking for clothes. When he hung up, he tossed the phone on the bed and threw the neatest clothes he could find on. -Come on- he signed to Yoongi, who was watching him worriedly. The older followed him without question, and the pair practically ran to the car.

"What's gotten into you?" Jimin asked as Jisoo slumped on the sofa. "He was saying mean things about Yunsoo oppa," she explained, crossing her arms. "So you hit him?" Jimin was in a state of shock. Jisoo frowned, "are you mad?" "Yes I'm-" Jimin stopped himself from raising his voice, taking a deep breath. He sat down next to her and hugged her. Yoongi remained stood by the door, arms crossed and a stern expression. "Jisoo. You can't just go around hitting people because they say mean things. A lot of people are going to say bad things." "But you hit them," Jisoo said quietly, and it hit Jimin like a ton of bricks. "One time," he explained. It was a lie, he'd hit a total of 12 people for saying mean things about Yoongi or his son. Unfortunately, Jisoo had been present for one of those times, when someone called Yunsoo a "deaf, dumb, son of a bitch" and Jimin swung for him on impulse. He didn't know what hurt more, the comment, the way Jisoo cried "daddy!" and both of the twins looked up at him with teary eyes, or how Yoongi wouldn't even look at him for over a week.

But that was over a year ago, and Jisoo hadn't done anything like this before. "I'm sorry, daddy," Jisoo said sadly, and she started to cry. Jimin wrapped his arm around her, and Yoongi walked towards them and crouched on the floor in front of her, wiping her eyes softly. The two comforted her until she stopped crying, but Yoongi was still stern with her. -You have to apologise to him- he warned, and Jisoo looked horrified. "But daddy!" She cried, turning to Jimin in hope that he would stick up for her. Jimin wanted to stick up for her, really, because he completely understood why she did it. Truthfully, he would have done the same, but it wasn't about that, it was about teaching Jisoo about morals and about taking responsibility for her actions. "I'm sorry, baby, but it's the right thing, and you don't want to do the wrong thing right?" Jisoo shook her head. After a stern lecture from Yoongi about "sinking down below their level" and about how violence is never the answer, he sent Jisoo to her room with her tail between her legs.

"She really hit him? How hard?" Taehyung gasped over the phone. "I don't know. Hard enough, I hope, the little shit needs to be taught a lesson." "Are you condoning her violence?" Taehyung joked, and Jimin rolled his eyes. "Can you pick Yunsoo up when he finishes? I already called the school to tell them that you would," he pleaded. "Of course! Want me to lecture Jisoo too?" "No! She loves seeing you, we're supposed to be punishing her, not indulging her," JImin frowned. "Hmm, I guess so."

The two chatted for a while until Jisoo knocked on the kitchen door, cautiously. "Bye," Jimin called, hanging up the phone and looking at his daughter. She frowned, "daddy, you know why I did it right?" Jimin sighed. Yoongi was in the other room, still working on his photography, so the two were alone. He waved her over and lifted her onto his lap. "I know," he said, tucking her long hair behind her ear, "it hurts to hear people say bad things about oppa and daddy. You were upset right?" Jisoo nodded sadly. "And you wanted to stick up for them, right?" Again, she nodded. Jimin kissed her forehead gently, "I understand, baby, I really do. But like daddy said, violence is never the answer," he looked at her sternly again before softening his expression, "there's always going to be people out there who say bad things. You can't fight them all, right? Every single one?" He grinned, nudging her gently, and Jisoo giggled. "Instead, we have to ignore those people, they don't deserve our time. Can you do that, Jisoo? Can you ignore them?" Jisoo nodded, and Jimin held out his pinky finger. When she linked her tiny pinky with his, he smiled warmly at her, "want me to make you some noodles?" "Yes please, daddy."
