When: engaged! :)

Jimin was out with Namjoon and Yoongi when Yoongi suddenly started shifting in his seat. His hands came to wrap around his cup of coffee, and he frowned deeply. Jimin gently touched his hand to get his attention, -what's wrong?- he asked, frowning. -Someone's watching us- he signed, and Jimin felt a little uncomfortable. He and Namjoon looked around the cafe. Namjoon turned back to him, -no there isn't- he assured, but Jimin's eyes lingered on one person. "Jimin. What? What is it?" Namjoon asked, turning to see what Jimin was so obviously staring at. Yoongi looked too, staring curiously.

The man made eye contact with him, and Jimin was too stunned to even blink. "You know him?" Namjoon asked, but Jimin ignored him, his heart jumping when the man stood up and headed towards them. "Hey. Long time no see," he smiled, and Jimin swallowed. "Jongshin..." Jongshin smiled again, "can I sit down?" "Sure," Namjoon answered, smiling, and Jimin tried not to glare at him. Jongshin sat besides him, looking at Namjoon and Yoongi, and Jimin took a long sip of his coffee. "I'm Namjoon, and this is-" "So how've you been?" Jimin interrupted, leaving Namjoon with his hand awkwardly in the air whilst he was about to introduce Yoongi. He placed his hand back on his coffee and sighed, glaring at Jimin.

"Not bad. I didn't think I'd ever see you again, since you blocked my number," he laughed dryly, and Jimin felt a little guilty. His anger at Jongshin had long gone, and it wasn't his fault, anyway. "I'm sorry," he apologised, "you didn't do anything wrong, a lot of things happened between my parents and-" "I know." Jimin scrunched his eyebrows, "how do you know?" Jongshin chuckled, "What, did you think that I didn't care about you? You suddenly blocked my number for no reason, I was worried about you." He paused for a moment to take a sip of his drink, "I went to your parents' house." Another sip, "came back with a broken nose because of your dad," he laughed. Jimin felt awful, "fuck, Jongshin, I'm so sorry." "Don't worry about it," he smiled, "I figured it was my own fault anyway, I knew it was risky going there. They told me what happened. I'm sorry, Jimin. I feel like it's all my fault."

Jimin turned to look at Yoongi. The boy was looking at them, a bored expression on his face, but when he caught Jimin's eye, he smiled warmly. Jimin smiled back. "Don't be sorry. Things worked out perfectly for me, anyway," he explained, linking his fingers with Yoongi's across the table. Jongshin's eyes widened a little bit, but then he smiled, "married?" He asked, nodding towards the ring on Jimin's finger. "Engaged," Jimin corrected. "You finally got over Dongjun then?" He asked, lightly, as if he was stepping on eggshells. Jimin sighed, "Dongjun's an asshole," he admitted, "compared to my feelings now, I feel like I never loved him anyway." He smiled warmly at Yoongi, squeezing his hand, and Yoongi jumped a little at the sudden squeeze, and grinned widely at him. Jimin did love Dongjun, he had no doubts about it, but his love for Yoongi was 100 times stronger. If Jimin's love for Dongjun was a handful of sand, his love for Yoongi was the entire beach. If his love for Dongjun was the universe, then his love for Yoongi was the whole galaxy. Dongjun was nothing compared to Yoongi.

"That's great, Jimin. I hope that you'll be really happy together," Jongshin smiled, and Jimin smiled back at him, "thank you. What brings you to Seoul, anyway?" "Work. There was a meeting in Seoul that I had to attend," he explained. They spent a few minutes catching up, and Jongshin told him that he was also seeing someone, but it wasn't as serious as Jimin and Yoongi. Jimin told him how sorry he was about everything that happened, including his father hitting him. The boy looked at his watch and sighed, "I've got to go," he admitted, standing up. "It's nice to see you, Jimin. And it's nice to meet you, Namjoon, and..." "Yoongi," Jimin finished, smiling. "Yoongi." He held out his hand to shake Yoongi's, and Yoongi smiled as they shook hands. Namjoon held his hand out again, ready to shake, but Jongshin patted Jimin's back, "bye, Jimin," he cheered as he left. Namjoon pressed his lips together and placed his hand back down.

Jimin watched him as he left. It was weird seeing him again after so many years. But it was nice to catch up with him. Namjoon was staring at him, his eyes burning into his skull, and Jimin raised an eyebrow, "what?" "You're going to have to tell me what the fuck all that was about, Jimin. Who the fuck was he? How do you know him? Who the fuck is Dongjun and why is he asking if you're over him? What the fuck happened with your dad? What-" "Slow down there, Seokjin," Jimin joked, holding his hand out, and Namjoon scowled at him. "I'll tell you later, but only if you promise not to tell Seokjin-hyung, or Yoongi. I will tell Yoongi, but I need to find the right time," he explained, and Namjoon nodded.

-Who was that?- Yoongi asked suddenly, and Jimin smiled because his eyes were sparkling with curiousity. -An old friend- he admitted. Yoongi didn't need to know the details, at least not yet. -Is that why he was staring?- Yoongi asked, and Jimin nodded. -I guess he recognised me.- -It's not hard to recognise you, you're too beautiful- Yoongi admitted, and Jimin beamed at the compliment. He grabbed Yoongi's hands and brought them to his lips, kissing them gently. -You're beautiful- he returned, his heart melting when Yoongi smiled. -Shall we go home?- he asked, and Yoongi nodded. As they walked home, Jimin spotted Jongshin with his boyfriend, and they smiled at each other before turning back to their partners, separating their ways again. Jimin didn't expect to see him after that, and he didn't.
