I woke and heard talking. My family was in the room talking to the doctor to see My brother. I looked over at him and he looked just like he did when I seen him before I fell asleep.

My moms came and stood next to me rubbing my back as I looked at him. " Dont worry. My baby gon pull through. He always do " She tells me as a tear fell. I nod. My little brother was a soldijer for real.

Cedes came in. I kind of was mad at her too. Cause before they left she was arguing with him. I wanted to know what all of that was about.

" mama can me and Cedes have a minute alone with Quan ? "

" Fine. Well be out there " She says and called everybody out. I looked up at Mercedes as her tears fell and she looked at him.

" Im sorry. " She says

" What were yall arguing about ? " I ask her. I remember the last comment he made to her. Before he punched the wall slammed the door and left. I should have stopped my brother. Made him stay. Told him to calm down and talk it out. But I let him go angry and somebody got him.

" Calvin...I started talking to Calvin again and he was upset I didn't tell him at first. He ignored me for days or weeks. i just wanted him to talk to me that day. I didnt know how he felt he never told me. We started arguing after words were exchanged he got mad and stormed out...I didnt know this would happen. Im sorry. I feel like it was my fault " She says crying. I got up and hugged her.

" Calm down...He gon be ight. My brother a fighter ma. He loved you. He told me that. He told me you was the girl he would settle down with and marrry. When you talked to Cal again it made him think backk to how him and Tiara did him...He was hurt. I dont know what to say about Cal...If I find out he had something to do with this Im a kill him. Homeboy or not my family comes first. He might have crossed the line to far. " I tell her for real.

Even if she did love Cal thats her problem. My family comes before everything and if a nigga thought it was okay to hurt my family he gon find his ass 6 feet deep. Homeboys included. Calvin does alot of shit and he doesnt think before he does it. Thats why he gets into trouble. Im the last one he want beef with. He thought Quan was horrible. He aint seen shit.

With out another word I dap my brother and got up to leave. " Im a see you later man. Love you " I tell him and walked out. I walked right past my mother and family. I needed a minute. I was going to go to the trap warehouse and tell the goons whats up. Calvin might be seeing his maker very soon.

Mercedes

I wanted to talk to Cal and ask him myself. Quan has been in this coma a few days and hasn't gotten any better. Cal and me were going to met at the spot were I first met him. That was his idea.

Once I got here he didn't show. There was a bench back by the tree's and I went and sat. I waited over 20 minutes and he never came. I told him this was important and that I needed to see him asap. He wants to leave me waiting. He's been real distant with me lately and I haven't even talked about Quan to him yet. Finally I saw a black truck pull up and he got out the back.

He looked around before spotting me and walking back here. The black truck drove off and he came.

" Wassup ? "

He left me waiting 25 minutes and all he had to say was Wassup ?

" You are being an asshole " I snap
