Cedes P.O.V

" I hate you. I hate you! I really hate you! "

I hit his chest. He grabbed my arms.

" Stop hitting me, Mercedes! " He tells me. I had tears running.

" Tell me the truth then! " I say. The door opened and Chucky came in holding the baby. He got in between us.

" Stop. I got a headache. Y'all need to talk about this like adults " He tells us. Jr waas crying and being fussy. I took him out of Chucky arms and walked away. I walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind me locking it. I took the baby over to the sink. I washed him up and then put him on a new onsey. I put on my pants and tee and my Nikes against the wall.

Quan was knocking on the door, and yelling my name. I didn't want to hear from him. I opened the door and walked out right past him.

" Cedes lets just talk about this " I put the baby in a blanket swadlleling him. I grabbed my keys and purse. Ignoring him the whole time. Talk about what ? He fvcking made me look stupid. Played me out. Im the mothed of his child. His only child.

I walked out bypassing Lexus. I went down stairs and walked out the house...I needed time to myself. I buckled Lil dude in then got into the driver seat buckled my seat belt then pulled out.

I headed to Lala's. She was my bestfriend and I needed her in a time like this.

She had got her own little apartment and was doing better for herself. " Hey, whats wrong " She asked with a worry look as she opened the door. " Come in "

I followed her inside. " Quan...cheated on me " I sat down holding my son close to my chest.

" What...when...why? Are you sure or you assume ? " She asked me. I wanted to stop crying....I just couldn't. I loved him and he told me to trust him...he wouldn't do me like this. Yet, he did and here we were...here I was hurt again.

" He left the party last night and didn't come in til after 4 am. We had sex...after he fvcked some hoe. I felt bad for being snappy last night I got up this morning about to make breakfast but started cleaning the room....i found a pair of pink thongs....I woke him up and asked him who's were they, he had the nerve to say mines..." I say.

" Out his pocket...man I don't think he would do it Cedes...He loves you. You're the mother of his child..His first and only child..Maybe she put them in there " She says...I was trying to listen and think about that. But, It didn't sound right.

I was scared to walk away from my life with Quan..he was my everything, but he wasn't gonna think he could just pull shit over on me. I was the mother of his child his girl...his other half.. It wasn't supposed to work like that..AT ALL.

" Im going to do whats best for me and my son " I say looking down at my shaking hands.

The baby started to whine and get fussy....
