Obsessed - A Kellic Fanfiction

Chapter 7

Vic's P.O.V.

I wake up to my alarm, and groan. I have school today, and I stayed up all night talking to Kellin. I can't help the smile that comes to my face. Yesterday was the most fun I've had in along time, and if Kellin doesn't choose me at least I will have had a sort of date with him.

I get out of bed quickly, and change into some proper clothing. I run outside after grabbing my bag not bothering with my camera today. Kellin is cranking his car as I walk out of my house. I smile, and wave at him. He does the same, and I run to get into my car.

I drive behind him all the way to school. I watch his facial expressions when we stop at the stop signs, and he always makes a goofy face at me, but he some how miraculously makes them look adorable. It all changes when we get to school though.

It's like he becomes a completely different person. He goes from Kellin to the popular soccer jock.

When he walks into school though he gives me a slight smile. I do the same, and look in the mirror in my car seeing that I still have a light bruise on my cheek. It's okay. You don't owe an explanation to anyone.

If they ask just brush it off. I walk into school my head held high.

I walk to the hallway where my first two classes are, and see Jaime with his arm draped around Alan Ashby's shoulder. I don't raise questions he left me. He chose to leave.

I walk past them, and Jaime sticks out his leg. I fall to the ground and make a groaning noise the bruises from my recent beating not completely healed.

"Loser." Jaime spits as he steps over me to go to class. I sigh pushing my body off the ground. I decide to skip school. I can't handle this today.

I walk out the doors at the end of the hallway, and towards the woods that surround the school, and climb to one of the lower branches, and sit on it pulling my knees up to my chest.

I put my ear buds in, and play Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. It's been one of my favorite songs since I heard Kellin singing it one day. I imagine how perfect Kellin's voice sounded singing it, and a smile becomes plastered to my face.

Before I realize it I am asleep in  the tree.

"Vic what are you doing in a fucking tree?!" I hear Kellin yell, and it startles me so much I fall out of the tree.

"Ow." I mutter.

" Are you okay?" Kellin asks looking at me with concern in his eyes.

"I'm fine." I say.

"In that case I've made my decision." He says, and I jump up off the ground looking at him wide eyed.

"I've decided that I need the team, but I also need you. So, we can secretly date until graduation then we can tell every body." He says. I smile, and give him a hug so big we both fall on the ground.

"Come on." I say grabbing Kellin's hand dragging him behind me.

"Where are we going?" He asks. I smile.

"It's a surprise." I say, and continue dragging him to my car.

"You brought me to your car wow." Kellin says sarcastically.

"Get in." I say rolling my eyes.

We get in, and I drive towards our houses, but make a turn, and drive down a dirt road until we come to an opening.

It's a field of flowers.

"Please tell me you aren't pulling a Twilight on me." Kellin says seriously.

I shake my head. "I used to come here with Mike until he moved in with grandma and grandpa. I've never shown this place to anybody, but today you are the guest of honor." I say.

Kellin smiles. "I'm honored." He says.

"Come on let's get out." I say.

We get out, and when we get to the front of my car we join hands.

I pull out my phone and lay it on the hood of my car. I play Lullaby by Chester See and we start dancing.

We don't even try we just relax, and have fun. We just dance to the song on repeat for a while. Having the time of our lives.

Then Kellin does it. He kisses me. I don't mean a peck I mean a full on kiss. Not like tongue action or anything, but a passionate kiss. We keep our lips together until we decide we need air.

We put our foreheads together and smile. Then we look out at the sky and the sun is setting, the sky starts turning purple. So, I grab Kellin, and lead him to my car we sit on the hood of my car watching the sunset. Then he hops off, and gets down on one knee.

"Vic Fuentes will you give me the pleasure of being your boyfriend?" Kellin asks.

I pretend to think about it. "I don't think I will Mr. Quinn." I say then lunge my self off the hood of my car, and onto Kellin so his back is on the ground, and my body is hovering above his supported by my elbows.

"Of course I will you cheese ball." I whisper then peck his lips. I roll off of him, and lay on the ground next to him. He puts his head on my chest, and we watch the sunset in silence, and soon my breathing evens out as I fall asleep with the guy I love in my arms.
