"Isaac!" I screeched as I saw him across the airport.  I'd been living with mom for the past few years since our parents divorce and I thought it was only right that I spent time with my brother Isaac for a while.  Especially now that Dad died.  I hadn't seen Isaac since I was 7 and he was 8 and he had really grown up.

"Hey Alex" he smiled, enveloping me in a hug " I see you felt like a change in hair color."  I had dyed my hair cherry red last summer and I liked it so I kept it red.  Isaac and I looked very similar, except for the fact that I had Purple eyes.  No one new why, they just were.

"Yeah, dirty blonde just got boring after a while" I shrugged smiling.  He laughed.

"So I was thinking we could hit the mall for some Slushies'" He offered.  I could tell he was a little nervous after not seeing me for a while.  I had to admit I was a bit nervous too.

"Sounds great" I beamed and he smiled.  He led me out to his small black car in the parking lot.  It was basically in the condition you'd think most teenagers cars would be in.  I hopped into the passenger seat and inside were leather seats.  Isaac jumped into the drivers seat and I shifted my eyes to the floor and caught sight of some slash marks that looked to be from claws.

"Isaac, what are these?" I asked him curiously as I pointed to the claw marks.

"Oh, uh, nothing" he said suddenly very nervous "I was just pet sitting for a friend once and their dog clawed my seat."  I nodded but I knew he was keeping something from me.  Those claw marks looked way too big unless you were talking about a Great Dane, and even then they were quite small.  My first guess would be a cougar or a wolf, but that's crazy.  Why would Isaac bring a wolf in his car.

"So..... are you ok?" I asked softly.

"Yeah I'm ok, why wouldn't I be?" he shrugged passing a gas station.

"Well for starters, dad just died" I pointed out as gently as possible.  I saw him flinch visibly but I didn't comment on it.

"Dad and I didn't have the best relationship" He explained.  It seemed like a sensitive subject so I didn't take it any further.  A few minutes later we pulled up outside of the mall and we walked in the entrance.

"So if I remember correctly" he smiled "You favorite flavor is Cherry?"  I smiled at the memories of us all coming here as a family.

"Yup" I grinned "just like my hair."  He just shook his head chuckling as we entered the Slushie shop and walked up to the counter.  After Isaac ordered my Cherry Slushie and his Blue Raspberry Slushie we sat in the back corner booth.  We just sat there talking when this guy walked in catching my eye.

"Who's that?" I asked Isaac gesturing to the guy that walked in.  I watched as he rolled his eyes in annoyance at the guy.

"That is Jackson Whittemore" He groaned "He's just a big asshole."

"Well I guess all hot guys can seem like assholes when you take them at face value" I shrugged "but I feel like deep down they are good guys."

"Just calling Jackson hot is a crime in its self" he said faking a gag.  I just stuck my tongue out at him as I kept my eyes on Jackson.  I saw a short strawberry blonde girl run up and kiss his cheek and I sunk in my seat.  He seemed like a big mystery, but then again I liked a good mystery.
