Loki

"Heimdall, please," Loki begged.

"Odin does not want anyone leaving Asgard, not now," Heimdall replied. Loki had been wanting to go to the mortal world, however he never quite found the time. But now that he did, Odin wouldn't allow anyone to use the Bifrost telecharger, which made him angry.

"Heimdall," came a deep voice behind them. "Allow him through. He deserves a break," said Odin.

Heimdall nodded. "Very well." He stepped aside, allowing Loki into the telecharger.

"Is 2 hours okay, Loki?" Odin called after him.

"Yes, father, it's a start," he replied, and he pulled a black cloak over his entire body, only his face exposed.

Loki found himself on a mysterious piece of land. It was about 20 feet above the ground, causing him to think he was on a roof. He looked out and saw a dark alley, but at the end a well light building. He walked on the roofs, tripping on a trap door on the way, until he was very close to the building. The first people he saw were 2 redheads, same height. Twins, he thought. He then focused on everything else. According to what he saw, it was a type of store, a prank store maybe.

He looked down. 3 people were walking out of the building, two boys and a girl. One boy had black hair and glasses, one boy had red hair, and the girl had brown hair, like a golden-caramel, pulled back into a ponytail. They were following two other people, a woman with black hair and a white streak, and a bleach-blonde boy. The 3 people stopped. The alley was deserted, and silent, so their voices were very clear.

"Harry, we can't follow them, we'll be seen!" whispered the girl.

"Relax, Hermione," whispered the black haired boy.

"Harry, she has a point, we're the only other people out here, he'll know we're following him!" said the red haired boy.

"Oh, shut up Ron," said Harry.

"Too late, he's gone," said Hermione. "He's already in Knockturn Alley, for all we know he's in a building already."

"The roofs. We'll run on the roofs. Maybe we can catch him." said Harry.

After a moment of hesitation, Ron spoke up. "Okay, fine, let's go!" And they ran back into the store.

Not wanting to be seen, Loki ran back down to the end of the alley until he spotted the trap door. Approaching cautiously, he bent down and opened the door. To his relief it wasn't locked, so he slid through the entryway, closing the door behind him.

The room was small, and pretty empty. There was a stairway in the left corner, so he ran down those as quickly as he could. The next floor, although not fully exploring the floor, had one long hallway, with about 4 doorways leading to separate rooms, also seemed deserted. The main floor was very open and wasn't particularly empty. There were long and thin boxes scattered throughout the floor, and a desk near the main doorway, with a greenish gray box on top. He approached the desk and opened the box. There were three types of coins inside, each sorted in three columns. There were large gold coins, medium sized silver coins, and small bronze coins. Loki pulled a small pouch out of one of his cloak pockets, put one of each coin in his hand, and, careful not to spill any coins, put all the coins into the pouch. He pulled the drawstrings and put the pouch back in his cloak.

Loki walked out the main door onto the road, and quickly went to the other side. He walked down the road and saw Harry, Ron, and Hermione on the roof opposite of him. He kept up with them for awhile, and then they stopped at a building, and kneeled next to something, to which Loki assumed it was a window or sun roof.

He looked back at the coins he had in his hand, and looked at each carefully. The gold one was called a Galleon, the silver one was a Sickle, and the bronze one was a Knut. He put them in the pouch, and looked back at the roofs. They were on their way back to the store. Loki looked for the store he walked through. It was called Ollivanders: Maker of Fine Wands Since 382 B.C.

Loki stared for awhile, then made his way to the store. The closer he got, the more clear the sign read Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. He entered the store, and pulled his hood down, revealing his long black hair. It was somewhat crowded, about 50 people in the store total. He made his way to the stairway, and accidentally elbowed someone. "I'm so sorry-"he began, but his heart skipped a beat, and he cut himself off.

It was Hermione, from the roof. She was carrying a brown paper bag filled to the top with books, and the skin around her left eye was pink. "It's alright, I should've looked where I was going, but I'm half blind. Damn punching telescopes, I'm gonna have a bruise there for awhile," she replied.

Loki chuckled. "I probably shouldn't go near those then, hey?"

Hermione laughed. "No, probably not. Well, goodbye!"

Loki nodded, and she walked away. But a book had fallen from her bag, so he picked it up, and called for her. "Miss, your book!"

She turned around, and ran towards him, taking the book from him. "Thank you so much!" she looked at it. "My Norse Mythology book! Oh I'd be so sad if I lost it, I find the subject fascinating. Thor, Odin, Loki, they're all so interesting."

"You're welcome. And enjoy you're book, I also share a fondness for Norse Mythology."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Well I should be on my way," she said, then she waved, and left again. She was much prettier up close than far away, he stared for at her for a moment, then kept walking. He looked around for awhile, then went to purchase a pair of Extendable Ears for 3 galleons. The twins were at the checkout desk.

"Hello, there," said one.

"Hello," Loki replied.

"Allow me to introduce us," said the other. "I'm Gred and this is Feorge."

Loki chuckled.

"Just kidding, I'm actually Fred, this is George," said Fred.

"I guessed that."

"3 galleons, please," said George.

Loki pulled out the pouch, and put 3 galleons on the counter.

"Thank you, have a good day!" said Fred.

"You too," Loki replied.

Back in Asgard, Loki went straight to the Mirror to Any Realm, which was a gift from Frigga, and started searching for Hermione. After a few days, he finally found her, on a train, called the Hogwarts Express, and starts watching her.
