Loki

"TELL ME!!!!" Loki yelled at Odin.

"When I got the casket, I noticed a tiny baby, small for a Frost Giant's offspring. He was Laufey's son-"

"Laufey's son?" he questioned.

"Yes. You were left there to die,  so I took you and the casket."

Loki was confused and angry. "You were knee-deep in blood and death. Why did you take me?"

"You were an innocent, suffering child," Odin tried to explain.

"No, there was more. You took me for a reason. Why?"

"I thought I could unite our kingdoms and bring everyone permanent peace. Through you."

"So I am nothing more than another stolen artifact?! You could have told me from the beginning? Why didn't you?"

"You're my son, and I wanted to protect you from the truth."

"The truth?!" Loki yelled in an angry manor. "That I-I-I'm a monster that parents tell their children about a night?!"

Odin did not answer. Furious, Loki stormed out the vault, and onto the Bifrost Bridge.

"I assume you want to go to the mortal world." said Heimdall.

"Yes. And only bring me back when I tell you to, no earlier."

He arrived on the edge of a lake. He looked behind him. It was Hogwarts. He looked back to the lake. All he wanted to do was talk to Hermione. Nothing more, nothing less. No one in Asgard would help, they either already knew and they've also been hiding the truth from him, or they don't know and when they find out they'd be terrified of him.

Hermione

Hermione was done with classes for the day, until Astronomy at 8. She was in the library, reading her history textbook, when something appeared on her left side. It was another model, but instead of Asgard, it was Hogwarts. It was about 6 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 3 inches tall. She spun it around, and saw a red arrow pointing at a spot on the lake. She slid the model and her book into her bag, and left the library.

She started walking towards the lake, holding the model, watching it carefully. She noticed a yellow dot moving, which she assumed was her. She watched the yellow dot get closer to the red arrow. She put the model in her bag, and walked straight. She spotted Loki; he was sitting on the ground, overlooking the lake. He walked over to his left side, and sat down. "Hello, Loki."

"Hello."

"Are you okay?"

He sighed. "No."

"What's up. I'm all ea- what's wrong with your hand?" she asked, reaching for his left hand, examining it. It was still blue. Once she was done, she let go of his hand.

"Odin told me I'm adopted and half Frost Giant."

"I'm guessing it didn't go so well."

"Why didn't he tell me sooner? Because he didn't want me knowing that I'm a monster that parents tell their children about at night?!?!"

She grabbed Loki's still blue hand. "You're not a monster, Loki."

He looked at her. "Maybe to you I'm not, but in Asgard, Frost Giants are monsters no one wants around."
