Hermione

It was a couple of days before Bill and Fluer's wedding. Hermione was at the burrow, sorting books into 2 piles, 'take with' and 'leave behind'. She had a much larger 'take with' than 'leave behind', maybe twice as tall. She was alone, as per usual. Harry was helping set up tables in the tent, while Ron was weeding the garden. Mrs. Weasley had kept her, Harry, and Ron from being together in private, but when everyone was asleep, she'd sneak into their room and they'd make arrangements. Thus far, they agreed on staying in Grimmauld Place, and that they had to find the Sword of Gryffindor first.

They made arrangements with Loki, and he'd come to the wedding with Hermione, then they'd get outta there as soon as possible. He'd come out the day of the wedding, and wouldn't return to Asgard until Voldemort was dead. But he told them about the arrangement with Odin he made, about him being able to stay in Midgard until then.

It was after the wedding. Hermione sat next to Loki while Fluer and Bill had the first dance. Once it ended, everyone else started dancing. Loki stood, extended his hand, and Hermione gladly took it. He led her to the floor, and placed his hand on her hip, and she placed hers on his shoulder, and they started dancing. 1 2 3, 4 5 6, 1 2 3, 4 5 6,... she thought to herself, as Loki seemed like a professional dancer, it was a little hard to keep up.

"Can't keep up?" he asked.

She thought he could read her mind. "I can, just taking a little more effort."

Loki laughed. "Do you want me to slow down a little?"

"A little, yes."

Loki slowed down, and Hermione was able to keep up again. They danced for a while longer, until the entire wedding was interrupted by a patronus that sped toward the middle of the room. It was Kingsley Shacklebolt's, and a voice came from the orb. "The ministry has fallen. Minister of Magic is dead. They're coming. They're coming."

Those last words echoed, and everyone started panicking. And sure enough, Death Eaters attacked the tent.

Hermione, still holding Loki's hand, frantically called for Harry and Ron. They came eventually, and they dissaparated out of there.

Loki

They arrived in a muggle alleyway. Hermione let go of Loki's hand and started walking out to the opening of the alley.

"Stay here," she instructed, and she stepped out onto the road, and looked around. She walked to the left, and out of sight. Loki started advancing, but Ron grabbed his shoulder.

"Don't. She told us to stay here."

Loki pushed Ron's hand off his shoulder, and waited for Hermione to return. When she did, she told them they were on Shaftesbury Avenue. She then proceeded to give them each clothes to change into that weren't dress robes. Loki teleported himself to the roofs above and changed into a black jacket and black jeans.

They went to a cafe to plan out their next steps. They were going to walk to Sirius' house, then Harry would go look for the Sword, and Ron was going to see if he could find anyone who knew where the actual locket was. As for Hermione, she was going to stay at the house to keep intruders out, and Loki was going to use the Mirror to Any Realm to find any other horcruxes.

Then 2 death eaters appeared and attacked. Hermione shot a few spells at one of them, and Loki shot a few bolts of energy at the same, while Harry and Ron dueled the other.

Loki shot a bolt at the death eater's heart, knocking him back, killing him. Harry got the other one down a few moments later. Loki closed the blinds, and Hermione wiped the last death eater's memory.

Once they got inside Grimmauld Place, Harry and Ron left again to look for the sword and locket, leaving Loki and Hermione. Hermione pulled the Mirror to Any Realm out for Loki. He started looking for the locket.

He found it. It was on Dalores Umbridge's neck. He recognized the name, but he doesn't remember how so.

"'Mione?" he called.

"Yeah?" she called, and walked into the room.

"Who's Dalores Umbridge?"

"She's a racist ministry worker. She was also a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, and managed to get Dumbledore kicked out of Hogwarts. She also loved punishment."

"Oh yeah. Well, the locket is around her neck. I'm going to go get it."

"Are you mad?"

"It's the only way to stop He-Who-Mustn't Be-Named."

Hermione thought for a moment. "Fine. Go, and punch her in the face for me."

"I'll do that," he said, and he teleported to the Ministry of Magic. The halls were deserted, and he walked down a few hallways, until he found Umbridge's office. He entered, and it was deserted. He closed the door, and stood against the wall until the woman walked in.

She was carrying a few folders of paper, and she set them on her desk. She turned around, and was surprised to see a tall, dark haired stranger in her office. "Who are you? What are you doing here?"

"I am Loki, of Asgard, and I am here on behalf of Hermione Granger."

"What do you want?"

He punched her in the face as hard as he could, and pulled the necklace off of her, and teleported back to Grimmauld Place.

He walked up to Hermione and set the locket on the table. She looked at it, and put it in her bag.

Over the next many months, they accumulated and destroyed many of the horcruxes. But Voldemort had found out that they were hunting horcruxes.

"Are you mad, Harry?" asked Ron, on the topic of breaking into Hogwarts.

"We have to, the next horcrux is there!"

"Snape's headmaster, Harry," Hermione reminded. "He sealed all of the enterances."

"Hogsmeade," Loki said. "We can get in through Hogsmeade."

"He has a point," said Harry. "Hogsmeade has less security."

"Alright," Hermione said. "Let's do it. Ron?"

Ron thought for a moment. "Fine. Let's break into Hogwarts."
