Adventure Awaits-an adventure with the Doctor

He's Strange

I listened to Starman by David Bowie while writing this chapter. It gave me a bit of inspiration. (I'm a huge fan of of old-ish music :) )

As you waited, you took a good long look at the man. Definitely funny-looking to say the least, and equally handsome. He brought out the handsome part with his floppy hair and his tweed jacket. But why a bow tie?

You had never seen anyone like him before.

You landed with a thud. The Doctor seemed very excited. His face lit up and he did that gesture to make you come to where he was.

"GUESS WHERE WE ARE!" he yelled at you, even though you were only inches in front of him. He had his fists clenched and they shook like a child at a birthday party.

You replied, but you stuttered a lot.
"I-I d-don't know."

~Dear lord you sound so weird right now. Stop it, (y/n)!!~you thought to yourself.

He chuckled at your confused stuttering.

"Well, we're not on Earth. That's your first clue."

Ohh, he likes guessing games, does he?

"Am I going to have to guess?" you asked.

"Yes," he replied with a single nod.
Oh boy.

You paused for a pretty long time, thinking.

"Helloooo?" The Doctor was probably getting bored by now, as he is a weird alien man-child and all.
"I don't know, Mars or something?"
He has a look on his face like he just saw a ghost.

"H-How did you know?!" Now he was stuttering. "Can you read minds? Can you see the future?"
"Dude, chill! It was just a lucky guess," you cut him off.

"Ok. Chill out. I can do that. I just need some mineral ice from Koorharn and then I can...chill out."
"It's just a figure of speech!"

"Oh. It is? I've never heard that one before. I've heard many in the past. Hmm, I'll have to keep that one in mind for the future."

You laughed softly. "Haha, alright."
Wow. He really was strange. But the rest of that strangeness will have to wait for a while. You were going to Mars.
