Niall

I waited and waited, my thoughts waying me down. I desperotly tried to think of somthing else when I suddenly herd a noise behind me, like footsteps.

I spun around....a girl was standing infront of me.

I let out a gasp "Who are you?"

The girl ignored my question and asked urgently "Is it your quest to enter the Maze of Tests?"

I said "Yes...it is" I stared at her, who on earth was she?

The girl said suddenly her voice desperate "Please please dont go! Its not worth it, Only death lyes there!"

I asked urgently "Who are you? How do you know that?"

The girl said "Its only giving me a couple of minutes to talk to you, to convince you...please! Me and My brother our trapped inside the Maze, we are its slaves! we are controlled by-"

The girls voice suddenly broke of and her eyes seemed to glaze over...when she spoke again her voice was calm and earrily quite "Do you stranger requst to enter the Maze of Tests?"

I blinked confused "I already told you I-"

She repeated herself "Do you stranger-"

I said quickly "Yes...I do, um who are you?"

She smiled at me mysteriously before saying "My names Arwa"

Why had she being all freacked out one second then calm the next? What the-?

Suddenly she grabbed my arm, I saw her eyes were bright once more as she gasped and begged "Please Go Back! You-" Then her form became hazy and complytly vanished.

I gaped at thin air where she had been, What the hell was going on?

"Niall! Its your turn next! The others are waiting for you on the ground!" Louis voice interupred my thoughts.

I walked over to him and gulped as I lookeed down, my legs started to shake and my head spin, dam we were high up, I couldnt even see the others waiting for me. I pushed Arwa out of my mind as Louis floated closer and I grabbed onto him.

I know this was the most inapropiate time but "Louis?" My voice trembling from fright of the hight. hay that rhymed! Ok getting of the point.

"Yeah?" Louis asked as he helped me ontop of him and I held on tight to his shirt.

"Do you ever worry about the future?" I asked him.

"Not that much" Louis told me.

"Why?"

"I have a motto" Louis told me, I could praticly feel him smirking and the amusment in his voice, I played along as I asked saracticly "So what is your motto?"

Louis sent me a shark like grin as he said "Its live for the moment, for example have you ever wonderd what it would feel like flying down a cliff at speeds of like..say a jet? or just falling down a mountin but knowing you'll be fine after wards?"

I suddenly let out a yelp of fear and held on tightly as I hissed "Dont you dare!!" as I caught on what he was implying.

Louis laughed at my fear and said mockingly "Come on Niall, Live for the moment"

"No! No! No! Do you understand? You do that and I'll bloody kill you!" I snarled.

Louis said teasingly not worrid about my threat "What? is this before or after I decide to drop you from a mountin?"

"Louis!!!" I growled.

Louis suddenly turned and held onto me instaid of me holding onto him.

He said serously this time "Come on Niall, I promise I wont drop you, I didnt drop the others"

I snapped "You did this to the others?"

Louis said "Yeah, only once I got half way down though, this will be the first time from the top...its really fun...please?"

I hissed "Its not fun when your the guy who is not the freacking son of Zeus! No way!"

Louis sighed "You know it be easer if you'd of said yes"

I asked suddenly feeling dread "Why?"

Louis said smirking like a chesire cat "You do no I'm still going to do this with or without your permission right?"

My eyes praticly bugged out of my head and before I could curse him to the deepest depths of Tartarnus, Louis gave me a little mocking salute and we plummeted.

I screamed while Louis laughed and did a couple of flips in the air while we rased down to the ground, my head felt like it was going to tear of my body and my lips were pulled back from the force.

Louis grabbed me again and we slowed down but only slightly "Come on Niall enjoy it! You'll never do somthing like this again" He said grinning.

I felt an angry retort on my tung but I thoughtt about his words, it had stopped me from worrying about being hanged, I guess that was a plus, mind you I now was worrying about falling to my death from a mountin, how was that better?

You wont die Louis is with you, he wont let that happen, trust him, a voice said in my head.

Trust the guy who treated life like a joke?

No

Trust the guy that saved you're life.

Ok...Ok...lets do this!

I closed my eyes, I didnt think about what would happen when I got to the ground or my future, I concentrated on what was happening now, this second and I concentrated of the feeling, falling through the air but nothing to hold you down or up, nothing in your way.

I spread my arms out and it was like all the waight had been lifted of my sholders, I felt free, I felt...good.

This felt...exilerating.

Live for the moment and I laughed, Louis grinned at me and did a couple of more flips in the air bfore he grabbed hold of me again and our desent slowed down, soon I opened my eyes as I felt ground touch my feat.

My heart was pumping hard in my chest and adrenerline was shooting through me but for once it was'nt from fear and it felt great.

I just stood their breathing hard from the rush, Louis smirked at me and said "Told you you'd enjoy it"

But I seemed the only one as somene growled "I'm going to kill you! You bloody-"

Zayn had lunged at Louis and Liam and Harry held him back, they all looked ok, Liam looked fine, Harry looked a tad shaken up while Zayn looked positivly furiours.

Louis jumped out of the way holding his hands up in surrender "Hey you dont need to be so-" Louis started to say but Zayn interupted him.

"I have a bloody fear of hights you dick! You didnt need to freacking drop me half way dam down that freacking mountin! I'll murder you!!!" Zayn more than growled still struggling against Liam and Harry. Harry stopped holding him and decided to let Liam handle him.

Liam was obviously the strongest as he seemed to be able to hold back Zayn easily. Once Zayn realised he couldnt get free he stopped struggling and Liam let go of him and Zayn glared daggers at Louis.

Louis looked uncomfortible at Zayns glares, who wouldnt be uncomfortible if they had the son of Hades glaring and looking like they wanted to kill them?

"So um....where to next?" I asked trying to get the attention of Louis and Zayn.

Louis sighed and looked ahead sayin looking frightened "The Maze Of Tests"

As soon as he said this everyone forgot about the argument, everyone remembering what we've been told about it, no one has come out alive....

I remembered Arwa and her warnings and shuddered....Here we go....
