Lucy's pov

I saw how Natsu stared at my father intensely. Both of them looked at each other with wishes to kill each other instantly .

How did my father find me this quickly ?! Does my father really want me back ? For what reason would that be ? The only thing he ever did was beat me , bruise me and make me meet strange men.

I felt terrified as I saw Natsu take out a flaming sword from his side and start slashing it at my father . Where did he get that ?! He didnt have it with him before .

I shook my head and started to back away slowly from the fight between them ,But Natsu held me closer to him ." Lucy I know your scared .......but stay with me ....I will protect you from him ....I promise ." Natsu said then kissed my forehead and lunged at him again.

After that a bright light appeared at my side .In its place was a blue and gold whip . A little tag stuck out and it said -from Virgo
To Lucy : you mom used this , take good care and fight with your heart .-

I felt tears well up as I clutched the whip in my hands ,and looked at my father who was fighting natsu .

It's time to help Natsu , no more being afraid ...no more hiding from my pain and fear.
I smiled and struck my whip at my dad . He didn't see it coming so he didn't have time to dodge . Then he realized who hit him and he looked at me , astonished by what I had done.

" Lucy ? What are you doing with these savages ? Why did you defend this man while I your loving and caring father am trying to get you from them , who are obviously holding you hostage .
I demand you come over here and leave them . These pirates can't ever make you rich or happy."
my father sneered , making my blood boil over the top .

" how dare you say that , these people have been more of a family then you ever have!" I yelled at him.

My father made an angry face and ran towards me and tried to grab my arm but Natsu pulled me away .
" she's not going with you old man, she's my mate , and I will always give her Love , unlike you."

Natsu growled and swung his sword again at my dad ." You mean to tell me that you , a dragon slayer marked my daughter ?????!!!! You insignificant ,idiotic ,fool!"

Natsu smiled and kissed me in front of my father making blush rise to my cheeks , and making my father angrier .

" you dare to kiss my daughter in front of me ?!!!!!?! I'll show you !" My father angrily tried to stab natsu, but instead I got in front if Natsu and felt the sword plung into my stomach .

" NOOOOO!!! LUCY!!" Natsu yelled . Immediately pain surrounded my entire body . The cannons stopped , the guns dropped, everything and everyone , was silent .

My vision started to blue more and everything sounded like an echo .

"Lucy.....Lucy.....hold.....hold on on....." A voice echoed .....then my vision turned dark.....

Natsu pov..

Lucy's bleeding .. No she can't do this to me no ! I don't want her to end this way.

Quickly I lifted her up and flew to my room , grabbing Wendy's hand as I did .
Lucy's bleeding only got worse, and as I looked back and saw Lucy's father holding his head in his hands .

He looked terrified and was mumbling something .
I shook my head , and went into my room .

"W-Wendy you n-need to hurry , l-Lucy's bleeding and I-I don't know how to stop it ."

My words trembled out my mouth , as I tried to speak. I couldn't bare to look at Lucy , with her face looking paler , and her body was barely moving .

" Lucy .......if you can hear me .....please open your eyes .....I love you too much to let you go ...." I closed my eyes as I saw Wendy putting her hands over Lucy , healing her with her wind magic .

Please Lucy ......don't leave me like igneel did....please ....

Memories flashed of igneel. The first time I held a sword.....the day he took me on my first hunt.... Everything.

Even the day he took me to where Lucy lived . The promise is what I shall never ever forget.....Lucy hold your promise ....and I'll hold mine ...cross my heart .....the one thing you stole from me Lucy ......my heart..

Finally after a while I looked up at Lucy and saw her breathing steadily . I felt my face brighten up a bit and I smiled .

My door opened and I saw Lucy's dad coming in . He stared at Lucy while I growled at him .

" what do you want you idiot ? You've already hurt your own flesh and blood." I growled at him ready to snap his neck at his first words he spoke.

" actually ....I came to apologize...." He said laying his head hanging low .
I was shocked but let him continue .

" you see when Lucy's mother died , I didn't know how to handle Lucy's sadness . I didn't know how to handle mine for that reason . I buried myself in my work and on accident I had....hurt Lucy.." He said with a pained face.

" I thought that I could make her happy by bringing in suitors . I thought she was happy....till she ran away with you ." He sighed and looked over to Lucy .

" I thought she was unhappy with you , I thought kidnapped her.... Turns out I was wrong I guess....and she's happier then she's ever been in a long time ....and I give you my full blessing ." He smiled and bowed his head to me .

I smiled back and nodded my head . " I'll make her happy sir, don't worry about that . I'll make you proud.." I smiled and looked over to Lucy who had her eyes open smiling .

" so glad your awake Lucy !" I smiled and hugged her gently .
She laughed and smiled bigger . " I'm so happy Natsu , I'm glad this is all settled ." She said and turned her head to her dad .

She steadily stood up and walked over to him ." Daddy.." She carefully picked up her arms and wrapped them around her dad and hugged him tightly .

They both started crying and laughing ." You know you look so much like your mother Lucy, that it's funny ,.." Lucy laughed with her dad.

It seemed so happy I hope to have my sweet Lucy by my side ........
