Lucy pov

I woke up feeling a soft , yet warm sheet wrapped around me , and arms that were loosely wrapped with the sheets . The feeling of it , felt nice and familiar .

Turning myself around carefully , I saw  Natsu holding onto me tightly . I smiled at his adorable face that was in front of me .

" good morning Luce ..." I was startled by his voice because his eyes were closed , but after a while; immediately he snapped them open.

" Natsu you scared me !" I giggled and threw his pillow at him, swiping it from under him.
" well I didn't want to leave you , your too warm and comfy for that." He smiled and tugged me closer to his chest and started to kiss me all over my face, making it feel ticklish as he did.

I laughed and tried to get away, but to no avail , Natsu had a very strong hold due to his very strong arms .

Then Natsu stopped suddenly and averting his eyes but still trying to look at me , but slowly spoke saying ," umm Lucy I have to tell you something, or as you would say something is going to happen soon...."

I was confused and a bit bewildered but I sat up and tilted my head ." Well go ahead tell me , what is happening.?"I was curious of what he had to say, because he sat there for a full three minutes thinking . Which made me worry.

Hopefully he doesn't over use his poor brain too much , in afraid it probably couldn't handle the stress.

" hem...well Lucy it's getting to that time for dragons , and dragon slayers and well.........it's....dragon season...,"
Natsu took a deep breathe, then sighed as if in relief.

" what's that? Some sort of migration?" I questioned only making Natsu face palm himself. " you know what Lucy , never mind you'll figure it out , just get levy to help you ,now I have to go ."

Natsu looking flustered with red across his face , left me and went to the deck and began shouting orders about the sail and such.

'I wonder what that was about.'

Shaking my head , I slowly moved my body up and used my hands to make my way to the door .

Something felt off about Natsu in a strange way he looked like he wasn't in a hurry to tell me . But I will find out even if Natsu won't explain it to me .

Getting out of the room I searched for levy to help me find this so called " dragon" book that Natsu called it I think .
Hopefully it will help me find answers.

Finally finding her I asked her about the book and she nodded happily and then gave me the book . She said was reading it but she finished . The book was strangely rather a thin book , yet it looked like it was very worn and old .

Smiling , I said my thanks and headed back to the room and began reading it, carefully opening the front cover to the first page so that way I wouldn't year the pages .

As I was I found these things it in the book.

Waring if you see these symptoms in your dragon or dragon slayer please take action immediately . The following will happen:

1.the dragon or slayer will find its mate hard to stay away from

2.the mate will be protected and if touched by any other male , that male shall be beaten

3.the slayer or dragon will separate the mate from civilians and take it to somewhere excluded and private

4.the dragon will try to mark its mate , if not done as soon as the season is over , the slayer or dragon will die , if you care please make sure the mate is marked
