The next day Lucy and Natsu arrived at a small island , far away from the city and from people .

The crew on the boat unloaded tents off , and set them up . A bonfire was build and people were separated into teams to gather food .
Natsu, Lucy, gray and erza were on a team to search for cocoa nuts and other fruits .

As they searched , Natsu took Lucy's hand and ran farther up so they could be alone . He then gently whispered in her ear ," Lucy maybe we could share a tent ?"
Lucy blushed deeply at his words and lightly shoved him away and then look up the tall tree in front of her .

" Natsu help me with this please ." Natsu nodded and hoisted her up on his Shoulder . ' good thing she's wearing a skirt .'
Natsu smirked to himself .

" Natsu if your looking up my skirt I will kick you!" Lucy shouted smacking his head . Lucy couldn't help but blush as she was riding on top of natsus shoulders.

" hey Luce do you think you can reach any higher ? I think I see some bananas up there ." Natsu shouted hoisting Lucy up higher .
" alright coming up !" Lucy tried to reach higher but to no avail , didn't have long enough arms to reach .

" umm I can't reach and plus I don't see any." Natsu smirked and faked sighed.
" ah too bad let's go up another tree !"
But Lucy kicked him before they could .
"I think that's enough Natsu ."

Natsu whimpered at his hurt shoulder that she kicked and took her off his shoulders .

" alright let's go back to camp Natsu , before I have to climb any more trees "
Lucy said sweating .
Natsu sighed and shook his head ." Fine let's go . But you have to race me !" Natsu ran and laughed , while leaving Lucy behind .

" hey that's not fair !" Lucy screamed and ran after him . Natsu ran behind a tree and hid there waiting for her .

" Natsu where are you ?" Lucy shouted.
Lucy started to panic, but screamed as she felt two arms grab her from behind . " you miss Lucy are coming with me . " Lucy felt her skin get goose bumps . She knew that voice wasn't natsus , It couldn't of been his .

On instinct , Lucy but the arm that had her and ran for her life . She didn't remember exactly where she was , but she had to get away .

' I am never goi g back to that excuse for a life ....never ..'Lucy cried as she ran .
Running farther and farther , her legs began to get worn out , so Lucy sat down in a cave close by.

Sitting down near the entrance , Lucy felt something warm stream down her cheeks. 'Tears?' Of all times to cry why now ?
She thought . Lucy refused to do something like that . No crying . No.

Repeating those words to herself , she forced her eyes to close and fell asleep , not knowing someone was watching from afar ......

Natsus pov

Where is Lucy ? Shouldn't she be running this way ?
A little worried I looked for Lucy . But she wasn't there .

"Lucy!?!" I shouted and shouted for what seemed like forever . Till finally I came upon a boat on the side of the island . It wasn't one of mine for sure .

All of a sudden I heard voices coming from the boat , and on instinct I hid behind the nearest thing.

" come on men ! We need to get miss Lucy back quick before the fairy tail pirates get back !" Hearing Lucy's name made the inside of me snap , and what made it worse was when I saw a man carrying Lucy tied up asleep.

How did they find us? More importantly her ???? I couldn't stand there idly , so I ran to the boat with my sword in my Hand and tried to take Lucy back .

Slashing my sword at the person carrying her , he screamed and alarmed the rest of the men ." Someone get him! And be careful! He's a fairy tail pirate!" One of them yelled . I smiled .

" oh I'm not just some pirate from fairy tail captain of the ship , not only that I'm Lucy's lover , so take another step closer and I'll burn you all to smoldering ashes!" I whipped fire into my hands and put Lucy in my other arms .

" n-no way ! He's that salamander! We have to report back to the king and fast !" One shouted running to the ship. The rest followed and started to sail away . I had a temptation to burn their ship but I don't like killing people . Even if it is the enemy .

Looking at Lucy , I saw her crying in her sleep. 'Oh please don't cry my sweet...' Why am I saying things like this ? Oh yeah....dragon season....

It's coming close , I can feel my scales on my neck rising just because Lucy is this close. Lucy's hair was in her face and she looked so peaceful . I would kiss her if I could but then I know my senses would get worse and I might do something I regret......or maybe not.

I have to shake these feelings off till the season ends. Looking at Lucy I ran back to the boat and put Lucy in my cabin . Hopefully there she'll be safe . I promise Lucy you'll always be with me .......
