A pirate promise

Lucy POV

Clouds above me floated whole a storm lay behind me . A monster chased me across the cracked field .
" no no!!" I yelled . No one heard me and no one would save me ....

I opened my eyes from the dream panting and sitting up in bed . An unfamiliar ceiling was above me . Where am I .

Oh that's right ...Natsu found me ..
I turned over to him , and saw him asleep . I smiled and stroked his hair .
I can't believe he remembered the promise , and here I thought he wouldn't ... Seems dad was wrong too ..

Loud bells clanged outside , and shouts of commands were heard.
Natsu also has a ship ... I wonder what it's like to be a pirate ..

Looking behind me I tip toed out the door and looked out onto the rolling seas. I smiled and crossed my arms , resting my head in between.
" beautiful isn't it?" I looked behind me and saw a man with raven hair . I nodded my head and stood up strait .

"My name is gray , I'm the map coordinator . I mainly set where we head to next , and by guessing you just be Lucy ." He smirked and stepped closer as I smiled and bowed a bit ." That's me ." Turned away but he pulled me towards him and held my waist .

" you know if you and hot head captain don't work out , me and you could get together, how about it?" I rolled my eyes and escaped his hold .
" no thank you , I prefer Natsu actually." Gray pouted and tried to grab hold to me .

" aww please , what do you see in the hot head anyways ?" I pushed him away angrily and slapped him . " more than you know ." I turned around and saw Natsu , with a very unhappy face .
" gray you stripper stay away from my Luce !!" He said blushing and holding me tightly , while using his other arm to punch gray.

" did ice freak do anything to you Luce?" Natsu turned his head to me , setting his head on mine .
" well he hugged my waist but that's about it."
When I said that , he started to fight with gray .

I frowned and tried to get them apart but I ended up getting hit .
" you two stop !" I saw a red headed woman pulling the two apart and ramming their heads together .
I walked up to Natsu and patted his head gently .

" Natsu you okay ?" I helped him up , and tried to get him to stand . " I see stars....." His eyes were in circles . " here I'll take you to your room Natsu ." I picked him up , and quickly put him on his bed . " your so heavy ......" I sighed and dusted my hands .

I wonder if gray and Natsu fight everyday , and why does he call him names?
I shook my head and looked around Natsus room . His room had a big window with red curtains hanging .
On the floor a golden rug laid there and... And blue pillow? I bent down to pick it up when a tail popped out , an some cat ears.
" ah!" I screamed and backed away as it flew up into the air and formed to a cat . Natsu woke up and shouted ," what's going on?!??" I fell back and lanes on Natsu , making us fall onto the floor .

I looked up and saw Natsu on top of me , I blushed madly and tried to speak." I-i u-um Natsu p-please get off." I felt my cheeks get hot and I tried to push him off , and finally he did .

" Lucy are you alright I heard you scream ." I chuckled and rubbed my head ." Yeah I'm fine I just was surprised to see that cat flying ." I said pointing to the blue cat .
" oh that's my cat , his name is happy ! He's my best bud!" Natsu gave a toothy grin and sat up .

" any ways Luce you ready for a mission today? I want to show you the ropes!" Natsu smiled getting close to me . I nodded and smiled ." Yes of course I would love to!" Natsu grinned and grabbed my wrist and ran to the deck of the ship .

" ahem , now this is fairy tail my ship as I've said , and that's the flag up there with our insignia !" He said pointing upward to the pole with a cloth waving in the wind .
Again he dragged me over the deck to a wheel with a bar behind it , where a girl with long white hair was washing glasses.

" this is the wheel , where I steer and this is the bar where Mira over here makes drinks for us!" Mira waved at me and smiled ." Nice to meet you miss Lucy ." She smiled and gave me a hug .
" it's nice to meet you too mira." I smiled and hugged back .

Natsu pouted dragged me again around the ship and showed me everything . The kitchen , map room , and the weapons room.
After wards Mira came back , grabbed my Amy and brought me to a changing room and started changing my clothes .
" m-Mira please! I can change myself !" I was a little embarrassed , because she wouldn't let me do it myself .

When she was done putting the clothes on me I was surprised . It was actually something I liked . No one had really let me choose my own clothes and this was a first .

It was a red raggedy looking shirt with black shorts . Black lace boots and socks were on my feet and my hair was in a pony tail . I felt .... Normal?
I smiled to myself and teared up . " thank you Mira!" I hugged her tightly and she hugged back . " welcome I can't have you wearing a dress while your here now can I ?" She smiled and brought me to another room ." This shall be your room , and make sure to lock it at night , sometimes the men here get into fights and it spreads throughout the ship .

I smiled and nodded .
Mira left me while I Looked around the room . This would be my life .....
Until.....

'Boom! ' crash !' " prepare cannons !!" I heard loud shouts and cannons firing .
