Aunika's POV
As I head up to the dorm rooms with my new friend Dora, I begin to wonder why she would pick a different house than her twin sister. I mean, I thought identical twins always stuck together.
"Hey Dora. Can I ask you something?"
"I believe you just did. I know what you mean though. You want to know why I didn't pick the same house as my sister, aren't you?"
"Yea, but if you don't want to tell me that's alight."
"I will. Tonight okay?"
"Alright."
"I guess we share a dorm." Dora says, reading the name plate on the door of one of the rooms.
"I guess." As we walk in, we are surprised to find three other girls in the room already.
"Hello, I'm Naomi Valensevi, that's Alicia Warburton and that is Amanda Moon." A small girl with long, curly, dirty blonde hair, spoke from the opposite side of the room. A slightly taller girl with purple hair that had blue highlights in it, waved from next to one of the beds, where she was in the process of putting up a poster. The other girl, who Naomi had called Alicia, had long dark hair that was pulled back into a ponytail.
"I'm Aunika Austin, and this is Nymphadora Tonks." Dora gave a wave, though the fact that her eyes were wandering the room, gave off the impression that she wasn't paying attention.
Then the poster that Amanda just put up caught my eye. "Hey, is that a Gravity Falls poster?!"
"Yea. You watch Gravity Falls?"
"Well of course I do! It's only the best show in the world! Next to Steven Universe of course."
"You like Steven Universe too?" Amanda asked, getting excited.
"Of course! Cartoons are my life!" I laughed.
"My parents don't understand it much, all this muggle stuff. I on the other hand can't help but love all these shows!" Amanda replied with a laugh.
"Haha, my parents get it. Being muggle and all. Peridot's my favourite, who's yours?"
"Jasper for sure!" Amanda exclaimed. I walked forward and sat on the edge of her bed.
"I brought a bunch of posters too! I wish there was more Over the Garden Wall posters too, but that's OK." I laughed.
"Oh, I feel the same way! I need more merchandise for all my fandoms."
"I got a lot. My mom wouldn't let me bring it all unfortunately. I plan on making sure we can't see the walls once I'm done."
"And I'll help!"
"Oh, I draw a bit too, do you have any oc's?"
"Ya, I make a bunch."
"SAME! Lemme see!" We then proceeded to show each other all our art and theories.
"You guys are like really weird." Alicia said, speaking for the first time since we'd arrived. "It's a very good thing that I am also incredibly weird, otherwise I might not have liked you."
"Okay good. For a second I thought you were going to end up being like really snobby. "
"You guys want to meet snobby I can take you to see me mums' sister." Dora said laughing. "Severusly, she is the most stuck up person I know."
"I'm really glad we all get along. Being happy with whatever comes yor way is the best way to live life. " Naomi said
"Guys." Alicia started.
"What?" I replied
"I think we know who the optomist is." Then we all started laughing, it really was going to be a great year.
