"I am Professor McGonagal, and if you will follow me, the sorting ceremony can begin." Professor McGonagal was a strict looking, older lady and the way she walked told us she was well known at Hogwarts and misbehaving would not be tolerated. "I must ask that you await your turn to be sorted quietly, so that the ceremony may run smoothly."

"Welcome to another year at Hogwarts! Now, as this year ends with an even number, we shall sort in the reverse-alphabetical order."
It seemed like forever before my name was called, but finally it was. "Tonks, Nyphadora" I practically run to the stool and ram the hat on my head.
"Hmmm... Not a bad mind.... Well... this is hard.... harder than even Dumbledore himself... Your equally smart, kind and brave.... hmmm.... what am I going to do with you? "
"Not Slytherin, please...."
"No... Slytherin is definitly not for you... too much darkness there..... I have never said this before, but you are,"Unsortable!" the last part he shouted to the whole school. A collective gasp went up as he said that I was in not only Ravenclaw, but also Gryffindor and Hufflepuff.
"What do you mean by 'unsortable'?!" I heard McGonagall say in shock
"Unsortable- that which cannot be sorted." I mutter under my breath
"What did you say?"
"I said, you know what it doesn't really matter exactly what I said, but if I'm unsortable, does that mean I can't go here?"
"No no, not at all dear. You just get to pick your house."
"Oh."
"The next one, Andromeda, skip her. She and Miss Nymphadora are twins, near identical minds, she'll most definitely have the same result. "
"Alright, Nymphadora and Andromeda, I'll ask you to step aside until everyone else is sorted, then I want you to choose a house."
So the ceremony continued on, Leila was sorted into Gryffindor, and after Abugadi, Annisa was sorted into it was finally time for Andy and I to choose.
"Well girls, what houses will you pick?"
"You go first Andy. " I nudge her forwards and Professor McGonagall looks to her expectantly.
"I wanna be a Gryffindor."
"Then go sit down with them. And you, Miss Nymphadora? "
"Hufflepuff." I say with an air of finality that shows that I've obviously done some serious thinking on the topic.

"Then go, and enjoy your time at Hogwarts. "
"Thank you." I run down to where the Hufflepuffs are cheering and slide into a spot next to the Austins girl.
