Due to the fact that Tonks can change her appearance at will, wouldn't that counteract the Lycanthropy virus, which forces you to change your appearance?
Wouldn't it make her immune to lycanthropy, therefore making it safe for her to marry Remus.
Plus, since any child she has will be a metamorphmagi, wouldn't that make it safe for her to have children with Remus? I mean, that would explain why Teddy wasn't a werewolf. Wouldn't it?

As a metamorphmagi, would the fact that Tonks can change her appearance at will counteract the lycanthropy virus? Metamorphmagi can change their appearances whenever they want, and the lycanthropy virus does the exact opposite; it forces the unwilling victim to assume the form of a wolf once a month on the night of the full moon. However, I cannot be entirely sure, as I do not fully understand the complete effects of the virus, but I've wondered this ever since I first read the books over six years ago. I was just curious if hers and the abilities of her son would make her immune to the disease of her husband, thus making all of Remus's fears about their relationship and her pregnancy pointless.
