The Story of Pipercy

Chapter 17: They meet another.

Percy jumps to his feet. "What was that noise?" He questions not seeking an answer. He sticks his head out of the tent.

His eyes catch on the water that surrounds there tent. The tent is lodged on a island surrounded by a sea of water. There is no visible source of water clear to the naked eye.

"Percy?" Piper is barely able to let the words escape her lips. Before Percy can respond the tents starts to slide forward.

"Piper!" He yells trying to grasp onto her before they meet their watery doom.

The tent crashes into the salty demise. The water is ferociously hot. A scream escapes Pipers lungs as she is scalded by liquid pain.

Percy bites on his bottom lip as he tries to find the exit to the tent. He keeps his eyes clenched shut, not daring to open them in this water.

Once he finds the zip he pulls it down and drags Piper and himself from the demise that almost consumed them. "piper?" He gasps as he breaks the surface. His lungs rise and sink fast, not noticing that he held his breath the entire time.

She spits the flaming water from her mouth as jolts up. Her clothes have patches revealing her scalded skin. Her skin with blotches of red hot pain stain her body. Blood seeping through a few on her arm.

"Piper" Percy croaks rolling on his side to take a look at his Fiance. His shirt crumbles as it makes impact with the wet ground which they lay on. He winces, slowly sitting up, not daring to test his luck with his scalds.

"Percy?" She slowly rotates her head to see the horror that her eyes withheld. She puts her hand on his bare scarred chest. "What was that? " her hand is heated by the scald on his chest.

Blood trails from Percys lip as he opens it to speak. "I don't know. I couldn't control it or breath in it" he coughs more blood from within in his lungs. He shifts his legs across the ground, testing the strength that was zapped from his body.

"Really?" Her eyes widen as she moves her feet with ease. She furrows her brows as thought race around the depths of her mind. "It's like that time in Greece.. or was it Rome? " she mumbles below her breath.

Percy looks around as a sea blue mist rises up from the centre of the room. It catches the the couples eyes.

Slowly the mist morphs into the shape of a female girl. Her hair fell down to her hips. It was a deathly black with blue highlights. Her eyes were a gorgeous, sparkling, sea green. Just to stare at them would leave a man breath less.

"Who are you?" Pipers lips move shakily the words barely forming. She took a deep breath then related this time with confidence, "Who are you?" She demanded.

A soft devious smirk spread across the girls lips as her legs finally formed. She stood tall and proud on the water. She was just shorter than Percy. "Oh you know. I'm just innocent little Paige" A giggle was thrown from her lips.

"This is no time for jokes " Percy clenched his fists as he looked at the familiar figure before him.

"Yeah your right" she nodded. "Guess you guys must be sore " she does a small pout.

"Why did you scald us like that?" Piper looked over at the mysterious figure as she feels a breeze over come her. She looks down to see all that remains her clothes is her underwear. That barely hangs on her body. She squeals and hugs her body. "What did you do?!"

"That wasn't me" Paige frowns. "Could just be your mother's blessing wearing of?" She shrugs and takes a step forward.

"How do you know who my mother is? "Pipers demands once again.

"Oh you don't know who I am, really?" She frowns shaking her head. "Well to answer your first question. We have been observing for a long time. Ever since you joined camp half blood" she looks at Piper with a giggle. "Did Percy seriously give you all those hickeys? "

"Yes I did. " his hand slowly traces it's way into his pocket as he clutches rip tide firm in the palm of his hand.

"Seriously Percy, you don't know who I am? " Paige sighs as she lowers her self onto the pool of water and sits on it. "I thought Posideon would of told you about me?" a tear trickles down her cheek.

"Who are you then?" Percy looks the girl dead in the eye.

"Paige Jackson. Daughter of Posideon. " she giggled to herself. "Your twin Percy!" She looks up, the blue in her hair glowing vibrant. "Hello brother, it's been a while "
