Percy holds Piper close to him as they continue to descend in the dark abyss that is consuming them.

The walls of polished granite that make the abyss vibrate manically as sounds escape them. One particularly familiar sound catches Percy's ears.

The sweet melody that stands out is his mother's voice calling out to him with a expression of sorrow and worry.

"Mom?" Percy says allowed, a single ounce of hope lingers in his voice, desperate to see his loving mother.

Piper just frowned at her fiancé, then proceeded to ask, "Percy, are you okay?" Percy couldn't hear her as they continued to fall in the abyss.

Percy's body started to tingle, the sensation continued to expand throughout his body, eventually every cell in his body was tingling. A wave of tiredness hit Percy like a train, his eye lids became heavy as his head bobbed trying to stay awake. His brain gave and he slumbered.

The sensation continued to grow, his body breaking away cell by cell. Leaving nothing but his reason to live, Piper.

"Percy?" Piper cried out as her kelp face vanished in her arms. She looked around as she was still soaring in the darkness, no sign of her Percy.

She caught a glimpse of light at the bottom of the abyss, her fall was almost over, but her fight was just about to begin.

Percy's eyes fluttered open, he looked around, he was in a hospital. He saw his friends all asleep, hooked up to similar equipment as him. Perry was the only one awake. "What's going on?" He mumbled to himself, the gears and cogs turning in his brain trying to work out why he was here.

A tall muscular man walked in through the door. Percy analysed his features. The clothes on his flesh structure belonged to an individual who spent their past time on a beach.

His sea green eyes meet Percy's. Both their eyes matched identically Percy new who it was, his father, Poseidon.

"Father" Percy bowed- attempted to bow- at the great man paced to the bed that held Percy.

Poseidon raised an eye in bewilderment, "Son you're awake!" He squeezed Percy into a tight hug. " we thought you would be brain dead!"  Tears of mixed emotions ran down his  cheeks.

"What do you mean?" He frowned pulling away from the affectionate embrace. "I was on a quest with Piper"

Poseidon shook his head, a wave of confusion filling his mind. "A quest Percy? You've been in a coma since you were twelve. You haven't left this very room in years. "

He sat himself down on the edge of Percy's bed putting a hand on his leg gently. "Son, what happened in your dream?"

Percy opened his mouth to speak, no sound emitted from Percy's lips, his attempt failing him. A wave of nausea occurred over him, his eyes falling bag in to his head as he collapsed back into his bed.

Jason and Annabeth are camping out next to the river Phlegthon. Blood seeping their skin. Their blonde hair stained with crimson blood.

A loud screech was heard in the distance. "Here we go again" Jason sighed
