then my phone rings.

"Hello, Mary?" hinihingal pa ako..

"Lian Perea, where the hell are you?"

Nako si Mary galit na. Male-late na ako sa photo shoot.

Lakad takbo na ang ginawa ko para makarating sa carpark.

Alam ko umuusok na ang ilong ni Mary dahil late na ako. I over slept.

"Girlfriend, calm down I'm on my way, give me 15 minutes. Labyu!" lambing ko sa kanya.

"You are late for pete's sake!"

Nailayo ko ang cellphone sa tenga ko, Mary is screaming on top of her lungs.

Finally, nakarating din sa carpark. I look for my keys and open the door.

"Calm down, Mary Therese! I'll be there in a while.."

I start the engine..

And as i look up..

I saw something,

no..

someone..

my heart beats like there's no tomorrow..

i freeze...

"Seth....." i whisper.

"Hello? Lian? What did you say?" nakalimutan ko, kausap ko pa pala si Mary.

"Uhm, wala. Sige na I'll see you in a bit. Bye."

three...

His car pass through mine, yumuko ako.. i know he didn't see me but I did.

Wala na yung kotse niya, hindi niya ako nakita. Hindi nila ako nakita.

Yes, nila! He's with someone.

Napailing ako.

"Kalma Lian, kalma." huminga muna ako ng malalim.
