Chapter 4: Alisha Marie

I walk into the cafeteria with Rachel and Mia because they are the only other people who brought a home lunch. I can't believe what I see. Some brown-haired new girl sitting at OUR table. It was the same girl sitting next to Rachel at the assembly. She was also the girl who was at the end of the row of our lockers. Rachel and I walk over to our table. Bethany and Megan were already sitting down. The brown-haired girl was sitting at the end of the table. I sat down next to my best friend, Megan with Mia on the other side of me with Bethany and Rachel across the table. "Hey, over there, what's your name?" I said to the brown-haired girl. "Oh, I'm Eva." she answered. "Cool. I'm Alisha. This is my sister, Mia, my best friend, Megan, her step-sister, Bethany and Bethany's best friend, Rachel." After we got introduced, we all started to get more comfortable about Eva being around. We all got to know her, but still thought of her as a outsider. After lunch, we all went back to our lockers. I had my next class with Eva, Megan, and Rachel. We all walked together and sat at a table together. After three more classes, it was finally 3:30pm. We all went to our lockers and got our bookbags. After school, Bethany, Megan, Mia, Rachel and I all walked home together. RacheI's family only lives a few blocks away from Megan and Bethany's house and so does Mia and my family. As we walked home, we talked about how we felt about Eva. We also planned a sleepover for the weekend. We talked about inviting Eva, but didn't think we should.
